me: is it time for henry to get over lucy yet ? he’s 58 & they haven’t been together for a really long time. they barely see each other anymore & -- also me: henry loved lucy more than he ever loved any one woman in his life, & she will forever be the mother of his child. henry never really got closure with lucy because he never wanted to speak properly about what happened between them. henry still believes lucy is the most magical thing he’s found & bases most of his work off of the feelings he experienced during their relationship --

WHERE THEY WOULD GO ON A DATE: Henry is a romantic; he likes grand, romantic gestures so ideal they could find a place in a classic romantic comedy. He’s loves fancy restaurants, and formal balls. Namely though, he reserves most of his drinking for movie cast parties, the oscars, and birthdays and holidays.  HOW MANY DATES UNTIL THEY GO TO BED: It really depends on the person with Henry -- and how old he is. When Henry was younger, it didn’t take very many dates to get him in bed. Now, it takes Henry quite a bit more, because he’s got a lot more on his mind.    “   perhaps   that’s   so.   ”   henry   ponders   the   indecent   behavior   of   the   yesteryear.   his   lips   tighten   &   he   wonders   if   this   is   his   late   mid-life   crisis   coming   into   effect,   or   rather,   a   poor   reaction   to   the   inevitable   growth   of   his   adult   daughter.   neither   are   suitable   contenders   for   falling   back   onto   bad   habits,   but   anita   makes   it   sound   so   inciting   that   he’s   left   with   no   choice   ;   a   shake   of   his   head   has   him   tied   into   the   delightful   misfortune   of   getting,   as   he   so   eloquently   once   called   it,   ‘shitfaced.’

                    nervous fingers brush along her lips as she watches the video playing across the screen ; eyes occasionally darting to henry, && she finds herself wondering how he’d even talked her into this. the first song she’d written following jackson’s death ; her first attempt at filming a music video since. it all seemed like a disaster to her, even nearly 2 years after the fact. but she trusted henry,&& if he thought this was a vision that needed to be brought to life, she’d do it. ❛ are you happy with it? ❜ 

   her   pain   was   incomparable   ;   she   had   lost   a   man   who   meant   the   world   to   her,   &   she's   had   to   grieve   publicly.   the   world   requires   too   much   from   those   they   idolize,   not   giving   a   second   thought   to   their   being   human,   too.   henry   had   sent   his   best   wishes   to   the   woman.   while   he   did   not   know   what   a   pain   like   that   could   inflict,   he   was   well   aware   of   the   damage   being   a   celebrity   could   add   to   it.    

    when   he   had   received   word   that   she   had   released   music,   henry   was   quick   to   jump   on   the   opportunity.   he �� hadn’t   been   working   on   any   projects,   &   he   felt   that   he   needed   to   collaborate   with   her.   her   pain   wasn’t   beautiful,   but   her   strength   was   ;   henry   wanted   to   capture   that   story   through   his   lenses.   if   the   world   wanted   ally   so   damn   bad,   then   he   was   going   to   present   her   as   the   brilliant,   resilient   woman   she   was.

   “   sure   i   do,   ”   he   spoke.   “   but   do   you   ?   this   is   your   music   video   –   this   is   your   song.   we   can   spend   as   much   as   you   like   on   it.   ”

i know this may be terribly annoying, but i haven’t had much muse for most of the stuff in my drafts. as a result, i’ve decided to drop most of things in there. life has been going pretty fast as of late, & i do want to write, but i can’t seem to find my muse with those threads.
