People joke about Scout being a twink and/or don't take the whole "being God's gift women" thing seriously. But I'd like to argue that he actually IS God's gift to women. This man is quite literally what most women want.

I'm aroace, as such I'm unbiased, so this is through general observation of his personality and what I hear when people talk about their type in men.

Physical traits: He has hooded eyes, he's canonically jacked (he's toned enough that it isn't gross to look at), and he has a strong jaw. He has dimples, as you can see in the photo here.

He also has smile lines, meaning he smiles frequently and that was enough to create wrinkles where the corner of his lips are. If you round that up with his general cool kid mentality and his youthful personality, it means he has a humorous streak.

I know the teeth can put some people off, but, funnily enough, he actually hides it a lot of the time? Like, this dude knows which angles he looks great at, so I'm going to assume he's photogenic.

Just to repeat the common joke of Scout looking like Jerma, Jerma's handsome, it's not difficult to assume that if Scout was more realistic and not cartoonish, he'd be handsome looking as well.

He keeps up with trends, AND LOOK AT HIS COSMETICS. Out of all the mercs, he by far has the nicest cosmetics to play dress up with. He doesn't care about wearing anything bad either, seeing as he doesn't have any grievances with dressing up like an elf (why I say that is because a lot of TV shows, movies, etc, always depict the "cool guy" as hating stuff like that)

Personality traits: He's extremely loyal, so loyal that he had a crush on miss Pauling for YEARS. If you look at the page where he meets God in the comics (specifically the line "the ladies back on earth, they've all LAIN with you, right?" "what, no! Were they supposed to?"), and you add that up with the fact he's been trying to get with Pauling, AND that he never once cheated on his ex-girlfriends who he had kids with, this man would never break a promise or lie if he's ever in an actual healthy relationship (good for him!)

He's awkward, and while he's arrogant, he's cool enough to shrug off any insults and won't let anyone else insult someone he's close with. He's a family man, a mama's boy but not enough that it becomes a problem, he's also respectful of both women and children (he shows more respect to single parent women though!), and not to mention he's a dad now.

The only reason he doesn't have a girlfriend (and these are two theories of mine), is either because 1) he's been self-sabotaging himself by having that crush on Pauling, or 2) he's too much like his ma who was most likely a single parent most of his life too, thus having a bad taste in women like his ma has bad taste in men (I'm calling out Spy here, he's not as suave as people think!)

Conclusion: Women ain't working for you Scout, why not try a boyfriend?
