Here me out: Alvin and the Chipmunks revival. Designs from the 80s. World like Roger Rabbit or Sonic SatAm with humans and talking animals coexisting. Still family sitcom, because that's the heart of the show. Maybe heavier topics, some inspo from the DuckTales reboot.

Crucial: 2D animation. Expressions, cartoon reactions and interactions are the life force behind good Chipmunk content. People love and remember so many screen caps of these shows. Make them silly. Make them made of jello and chipmunk spunk. Stop trying to make them relatable with the kids and just flesh them out as characters interacting in an unusual world where animals are holding popularity above humans in certain industries. Focus on interpersonal conflict and emotional intelligence, that's HUGE in children's television right now. The world needs another animated show about sibling dynamics and family cohesion right now. Explore what the music industry would be like for them as child stars AND animals. Just my thoughts.
