Yeah, they’ve only been dating for around a month, but it’s the first boyfriend he’s ever had and they at least know that much about him. They just arrived today and have a whole week planned ahead of them so they decided to get some rest after dinner, which means they’re probably just going to cuddle and talk all night until they wake up and don’t even remember falling asleep. “Hyung talked to you a little! That means he likes you, he’s usually really quiet.”

But then again, as much as optimism fills her heart, fairy tales don’t really come true. “What if…” She says, reaching out to take a handful of chips before placing them on her lap. Digusting, but she likes it. “I’ve already met my prince but I don’t know it’s him?? And… get to mine too?? Have you met yours?!”

          oh, dear, has he been found out? he clears his throat (a SUREFIRE sign of a lie about to come) and laughs. ❝ do i seem like i’ve met mine? ❞ he likes to think it’s hard to tell, ignoring the marks on his neck that, with the coming of summer, won’t be hidden under his turtleneck for much longer, and the happy sighs he releases in random bursts. ... actually, now that he thinks about it, he HAS had to work harder to keep his weight steady, and he suspects it’s got something to do with eating out more often this past month. ouch. MOVING ON! ❝ that’s a dilemma. theoretically any man can be your prince, you’ve just gotta find the one that wants to be your prince. ❞

The girl has yet to experience the searing pain of a break-up so at this point in her life, everything is just fun and games. “I’m sorry you have to deal with dicks.” Why is she even apologizing for something she didn’t do? But that’s just Jinsu. She really can’t say she relates because all of her exes have been friends with her. “Maybe one day you’ll find the right person for you, you just have to kiss a lot of frogs to get to the prince.”

          grin on his face, he leans back, popping another chip into his mouth as he shakes his head with a soft hum. he chews and swallows before replying: ❝ you’ve got NOTHIN’ to apologize for. you weren’t any of the dicks i’ve dated, as far as i can tell. ❞ he squints over at her. ❝ at least, i’m pretty sure i was sober enough for MOST of them to be able to recognize them. ❞ he snorts at his own joke, and then, after a long pause, he sighs and leans back in to STEAL another chip, but he doesn’t eat it until he’s finished speaking. ❝ that’s one way to put it. i like that, actually, it’s nice. ❞ so what if he’s pretty sure he’s already met his prince? she doesn’t need to know that, and it’s not like he can’t appreciate a notion. ❝ hey, you’ll get to yours too, y'know. ❞

She pops the junk food in her mouth before speaking. “Is it wrong if I still text back my ex? I mean—we ended on pretty good terms.” She wonders out loud, but also, she wants him to answer her query.   

          ❝ i, personally, don’t understand the CONCEPT of ‘ending on good terms’ — but that’s just because it’s never happened to me. ❞ until this last month, it seemed like he had the worst luck in terms of ROMANCE. being cheated on messes with your perception of love and trust, so every boyfriend up until now has only seen him as clingy and overbearing. (he takes a moment to appreciate what he has.) ❝ so, i mean, of course i'm gonna think it’s weird, ‘cause i don’t talk to any of my exes. ‘cause they’re DICKS. but i’m sure it’s pretty common. ❞
