“ we’ll be the cutest couple in existence, someday ” (From Shuya)

to ezika, the statement almost falls on deaf ears.  he’s not really LISTENING to the words, just the sound of shuya’s VOICE.  but he DOES catch one word in particular.  couple.  they were ALREADY a couple.  there was TWO of them.  that made a COUPLE, right ??  and then it HIT him.  a COUPLE was…..dating.  did…..did shuya…..want to DATE him ??  suddenly, his heart is beating TOO fast and he can’t quite breathe right.  he…..didn’t think ezika was STRANGE ??

for once, he’s found WITHOUT words.  no words in ANY language he knows can help him now.  with his FREE hand, he fiddles with his necklace, gaze LOWERING slightly.  no one had ever really.....wanted to DATE him before, not even on scion.  and back then, that had been OKAY.  he hadn’t been INTERESTED in a relationship before.  and then he’d met shuya and EVERYTHING changed for him.  suddenly the thought of being with someone else didn’t sound so BAD anymore.

Examine Shuya!

shuya, or as you have taken to calling him, svikalla.  he is VERY affectionate, something you don’t mind at all.  where you come from, it’s quite NORMAL for friends to do that.  but you don’t know if you would classify him as JUST a friend.  you.....don’t really know WHAT he is to you.  you know you care, and that’s all.  you care, and the thought of one day returning home and having to LEAVE him tears you in two.  you don’t like thinking about that.
