I sat facing into the sun humming to myself, with eyes closed. It was a similar sound to the Bee Breath pranayama, but more melodious. It was a tune I’ve had in my head for awhile now, but it had evolved at this point. The vibration in my throat and head, the early morning cold air kissing my exposed skin, and the sun shining on my face, all made for a wholesome experience. My mind would stray to the horses behind me, wondering if they thought anything of my humming, and then I would bring myself back, practicing the identification of the witness. Coming back to myself in that. I think I hear it say hello from time to time. “Hi Bonnie. Here I am. Here you are.”
