Hi, what are the official guidelines for taking pictures or filming at the con? For example filming the sketch show or the JF Q and A?

From a legal point of view, you’re allowed to record the event itself. The only problem is when someone asks not to be recorded. In the particular case of the panels with John Finnemore, we will double check with him if he’s okay with being filmed or not. Last year he asked not to be recorded because it made him feel a bit uncomfortable. We’ll see what he says this year.

Regarding the other activities and events, as long as noone is against it, there will e no problem at all. We’ll also make an announcement at the beginning of the convention to make sure that everyone knows our policy.

Hi! Thanx for the schedule. I'm just nor sure half an hour break is enough time to get to the train station and eat something? Even if we only get take away. The hotel doesn't do food does it? Sorry! Just, 30 min is really tight.

Hi dear anon. Please don’t feel concerned about the lunch break.The hotel does do food, actually, but anyway the schedule is not as strict as it looks. Half an hour is the minimum time we allocated for lunch, but we’re 100% confident it will end up being longer than that. Also, if you people need more time, you will get it. We were also suggested to organise a food delivery from one of the many take aways in the area. We can sort it out :)
