Percy jackson x reader Warnings: Percy
Percy loves bringing you on dates, nice dates, in secluded spot of the forest of the camp or underwater in an air bubble. This one was different, you left camp.
He drove you both to montuak, having rented out the cabin him and his mom go to every year for the weekend.
He pulls over, parking the beat up truck at the edge of the sand and undoing his seatbelt. He turns to you, and moves his hand from where is was resting on your thigh to your shoulder, lightly shaking you in an attempt to wake you up.
You groan, sleepily bringing your hand to bop him on the chest as if he was an alarm clock being snoozed. Percy grabs your wrist gently, stopping you from continuing.
“C’mon angel, gotta wake up.”
“noooo”
“yes” He huffs, opening the driver’s side door and stepping out. The son of Poseidon makes his way to the passenger side and opens the door. You unbuckle your belt and step out.
He hauls you over his shoulder and shuts your door.
“Persues…seriously,” you whine as he carries you to the back of the truck. He puts you onto your feet before opening the tailgate and grabbing your bags. He slings the bags over his shoulder, closing the tailgate soon after. “Lets go love, we need to get to the cabin before it starts raining.”
“I could’ve used my legs there though.” You huff but follow him down the beach and to the cabin.
“Ta-da,” he exclaims as he unlocks and opens the door to the rundown cabin. “Percy, I want to go back to sleep,” he grins, dropping the bags to the floor and resting his hands on your waist.
“Wow, you’re not gonna insist I unpack straight aware, you must be really sleepy, angel.” Your eyes roll and you press a quick peck to his lips then make you way to the couch and flop down.
He smiles.
--
When you wake up, it's about midnight, raining pouring outside, while percy is attempting to make pancakes, blue ones, obviously. He hums a tune as he stirs blue food dye into the batter, somehow getting the dye all over himself in the process.
You sit up and stretch, attempting to rid the post-nap sleepiness. Then stand, moving over to the kitchen. You watch the floor as you walk, as the old floorboards creak under you.
You grab a washcloth and run it under the sink before gently wiping the blue dye off his hands. “Morning, sleepyhead.” You glance to the clock on the stove, “Its 12:02?”
“In the morning,” he teases as you wipe the last bit of dye from his arm. “this feels oddly…domestic,” you hum. “it does” percy pours the pancake mix onto the hot pan, placing the now empty batter bowl into the sink.
“So, was there a reason you wanted to take me here…to montuak, its not our dating anivesery, or the anivesery of our first kiss?” His hands find your waist, squeezing gently and pulling you closer, “No..just wanted to…carry on a tradition”
“Thats sweet, suspicious, but sweet”
You kiss him gently, lightly nipping at his bottom lip. Percy moves his hands to lift and sit you on the counter. Though of course, the moment gets interrupted by the smell of smoke.
“Percy the pancakes!"
he jumps, turning around to see the pancakes, on fire, of course.
He moves to the sink to fill a cup of water to splash it on the pancake, but you're faster, hopping off the counter to put the lid on top to smother it.
He rolls his eyes, dropping the cup back into the sink, and just stares at you. You return the look
He tries to hide a smile, fails then proceeds to burst out laughing. You follow soon after, “so I guess this means no pancakes” you say in between wheezing.
The son of posideon finally composes himself, “That's fine, there’s something else id much rather eat here.” his hand squeezes your hip and you push him back gently, “Percy jackson!”
The rain outside pelting against the windows, creates a calm, intimate environment. He reaches down to his pocket when your voice cuts through the air.
“i’m gonna make us some actual food,”
Percy mutters a swear under his breath but takes his hand out of his pocket.
About an hour later percy drags you outside to the shore, despite your protests about it raining, and the likelihood of zeus striking him with lighting out of pettiness.
“perce why?’ your whine makes him chuckle. “Because it's romantic, like in the movies” The water laps at your feet as the rain pours down from the sky, soaking you both. Hands rest of your waist and pull you in closer.
You lean your head onto his chest and for a moment everything stills, the only thing you can hear is his heartbeat, only thing you can feel are his hands wrapped around you, there are no gods, no monsters, just two people in love.
Percy pulls back, taking your hand in his and twirling you. You giggle, which makes his grin wider, “you sound so pretty when you laugh like that.”
“i know percy, you only tell me a thousand times day”
“Because I mean it.” Thunder crashes, a few moments later lightning strikes in the distance, you turn to look at it.
“Okay perce I think its time to go inside now,” when you turn back to him, he’s on his knee, a little black box in his hand, open, a huge smile on his face. He says nothing, just stares at you with those sea-green eyes and his wet hair sticking to his forehead.
“Will you mary me?” he finally asks, breaking you out of your starstruck stare. “Yes, yes, is that even a question? Of course, will”
He stands, quickly slipping the ring onto your finger and pulling you into a tight embrace. “I had a whole speech planned,” he whispers “then the way you looked at me, I couldn’t speak” \ your hands reach up to cup his face, “I love you, I love you, I love you so much”
He presses his lips to yours, but this kiss is different from the earlier one in the kitchen, its not as heated, not a silly gooy kiss, no, this one is slow and deep, full of pure love and devotion.
Thunder crashes again, “okay can we please go inside now.” Your pleading makes him chuckle, “okay angel, we can go inside now.” You practically drag i’m inside, to the couch.
“I cant wait to make you my wife,” he mutters as dicards his and your soaking wet clothes to the floor.

girl dad! percy jackson ! (Baby’s First Beach Day)

⋆♆.˚ ㅤ| percy jackson x fem!reader
— about. beach trip! Percy’s excited. The baby trying to eat the sand. You’re just trying to avoid getting it everywhere. It’s her first beach day—and it’s amazing .
The whole house smelled like sunscreen.
It was early, soft light leaking through the open curtains and turning everything golden, even the pile of towels waiting to be packed. Percy had already made a tray of snacks and set out the beach toys on the floor, all sea-themed, of course—little plastic molds shaped like shells, a fish, a dolphin. Your daughter sat on the rug nearby, chewing on a crab-shaped rattle and kicking her socked feet like the morning was the most exciting thing in the world.
And Percy definitely agreed with her.
Today was a big deal. It was her first time seeing the ocean. And not through a book or a video call with Grandpa Poseidon—no, this time it was real. Sand, waves, breeze, salt in the air. He was determined to make it perfect.
You were still in the bedroom getting ready. He could hear soft music and the faint clink of a brush on your vanity. He gave the snack bags one last check, zipped them shut, and turned to the baby.
“Alright, jellybean,” he whispered, scooping her up from the rug. “Your mom is probably halfway through deciding between two swimsuits that look exactly the same, so we’ve got time to pick your outfit.”
He brought her to the nursery and opened the dresser drawer, staring at the baby-sized options.
“Okay, we could go with the one that says ‘Seas the Day,’” he held it up, “but that might be too much. Or this one with tiny sea turtles… or—wait. I have a better idea.”
He walked back toward the bedroom, holding the baby against his chest. Stopped just before the door, then peeked.
You were turned away from him, adjusting the tie of your swim wrap, the soft sky-blue fabric hugging your waist. Your hair was up, skin glowing in the sunlight. You looked happy.
Beautiful.
He didn’t say a word, just smiled softly, and stepped back.
In the nursery, he laid the baby on the changing table.
“Alright. We saw Mama’s fit,” he whispered, digging through the clothes. “We’re going for a match.”
He found a soft baby blue romper with tiny white waves embroidered along the edges. Paired it with her sunhat, pale sandals, and a blue-green bow for her hair. He changed her carefully, humming a soft tune under his breath.
Once she was dressed, he set her in her little seat and threw on his own outfit: loose swim trunks, light blue shirt. They matched. Not perfectly but enough that it would make you smile.
When you finally stepped out of the room with your beach bag slung over your shoulder, you blinked at the sight in front of you.
Percy, holding the baby, both of them in matching blues.
You stopped in your tracks.
“Are you kidding me?” you whispered, eyes wide with delight. “You guys—! Look at you!”
Percy leaned down and let the baby stretch her chubby arms toward you.
“She’s your mini me today,” he said, smiling.
You took her in your arms and kissed her cheek. “My pretty baby,” you murmured. Then you looked at Percy. “You too, though?”
He shrugged like it wasn’t a big deal. “Thought we’d make a good trio.”
“You’re so cute,” you said, soft and amused.
“I know thanks,” he replied.
You rolled your eyes but kissed him anyway. Then, cooler in hand, beach bag over your shoulder and towels under Percy’s arm, the three of you stepped out the back door.
The beach was only a few steps away—your house opened directly onto a path lined with wind-worn grass and soft golden sand. You laid out the blanket while Percy set up the umbrella and started unpacking the snacks and toys. The baby sat in your lap, blinking at the brightness and the sound of waves crashing nearby.
“She’s staring at everything,” you whispered, brushing her hair back under her hat.
“She’s probably like, ‘you guys live next to this and didn’t tell me sooner?’” Percy chuckled.
Once everything was set, he pulled out the sunscreen.
“Alright, sun squad. Time for the fun part,” he said, squirting some into his hands.
The baby squirmed a little but let you both dab her cheeks, nose, arms, and chunky legs. Percy kissed her head when they were done.
Then he turned to you with a smile. “Your turn.”
You raised a brow. “You just want an excuse to touch me, weird.”
“Guilty.”
You sat in front of him and let him smooth sunscreen over your shoulders and down your arms. His touch was slow, gentle, almost reverent. When he finished, he pressed a kiss to the top of your spine.
Then the real fun began.
You brought the baby down into the sand beside the toy molds, gently guiding her fingers through it. She stared at the grains on her hand, then looked up at you, confused and delighted.
“Is it food?” Percy asked, kneeling beside her.
“She’s thinking about it.”
You both laughed when she made a face and dropped a handful.
“She’s a beach girl already,” you said.
“She better be.”
She reached for another handful—this time she did try to eat it.
“Nope, nope, nope!” you said, laughing as you intercepted her hand just before it reached her mouth. “Not a snack, sweet pea.”
But she was determined. The moment you and Percy looked away to adjust the umbrella’s angle, she grabbed another small fistful and shoved it straight into her mouth.
“Hey—!” Percy lunged gently toward her, pulling her hand away and brushing her tongue with his finger. “Okay, okay, we get it. You love the beach. Let’s not eat the beach.”
You scooted over and settled onto your stomach on the towel, avoiding too much sand contact but still right beside them, playing too—handing over molds, poking little holes in the sand, blowing a raspberry against your baby’s arm just to make her laugh. She kept turning to glance at you like she needed to make sure you were still close.
“She’s trying to eat the whole coastline,” Percy muttered, sitting beside her again and distracting her with a toy.
The three of you stayed there a while. You played with the toy molds, tried (and failed) to dig a moat that didn’t instantly collapse, and eventually started building the world’s most uneven, lopsided, absolutely adorable baby sandcastle. Percy built the base with wide, clumsy scoops of sand. You smoothed out the sides and tried to add a little “door” with your finger. Your daughter’s contribution was mostly destructive—slapping the top off every time it reached more than a few inches high—but she laughed every time she did it, so neither of you minded.
“Okay, okay, treaty time,” Percy laughed, shielding the castle with his arm. “Let us build it, and you can destroy it after.”
“Like a baby Godzilla,” you added.
He gasped. “Exactly. She’s training.”
Once you’d finally built a tower that held up for longer than thirty seconds, you all cheered—and she immediately crawled over and sat on top of it. Sand exploded in every direction. Percy flopped onto his back in mock defeat, groaning dramatically.
“She’s ruthless.”
“She’s perfect,” you corrected, brushing off her romper.
Percy reached for the snack tray and set it in the shade. “Alright, snack time before we lose all our energy to castle carnage.”
You sat up and reached for a fruit skewer while he offered a soft rice puff to the baby, who immediately dropped it in the sand.
“…Okay,” Percy sighed, picking it up and grabbing another.
“She’s on a sand-only diet,” you teased
You leaned against Percy’s side, his arm coming around you instinctively while the baby chewed happily on a teether shaped like a sea star.
Eventually, when she started getting more curious about the sound of the waves, you both decided it was time.
You took off her sandals and walked slowly to the shore, each of you holding one of her tiny hands to help her waddle across the warm sand. Her legs were wobbly, and she kept pausing to stare down at her toes like she couldn’t believe this was happening.
The water was a soft blue-green, curling in lazy waves over the shore. You stepped in first, hissing at the chill, then Percy followed, still guiding her carefully.
She stared down.
Then up at you.
Then back down.
Percy rocked her gently. “It’s okay. This is the ocean. You’re part fish, you know.”
“Only like quarter fish,” you corrected.
She leaned forward slightly, and both of you helped her until her tiny toes touched the water
She gasped.
Then giggled.
The tiniest, happiest sound.
Percy looked at you, his eyes soft and full.
“She likes it,” he whispered.
You reached out and touched her back, holding your family close as the waves brushed against your legs.
“If course she does,” you said.

one of my favorite subtle implications in the series is that it seems the Titan Army was fully banking on Percy being the host of Kronos. Why else would they make their main base a cruise ship if their primary enemy is a son of Poseidon? Named after Andromeda, the wife of Perseus? Why would they work on Oceanus specifically being free so much? Side notably with other children of Poseidon? Why plant Zeus and Hades' items of power on Percy when Luke already had them? Why only Zeus and Hades' items, not Poseidon's? Well because they really need Percy as Kronos' host, that's why. (and Poseidon siding with them because of that would be a bonus as well)
I like to imagine Luke's cabin on the Princess Andromeda is fully decked out with like "WELCOME PERCY" and sea-themed sheets and everything and he hates it so much cause it's a constant reminder he failed and he was Kronos' second choice. Also then he gets his super special pegasus not even exactly stolen by Percy, but the pegasus willingly defects to be Percy's personal steed instead, which must just be insult to injury. Luke has immense one-sided beef with Percy and Percy has no idea.
