Good morning brothers and sisters! WE ARE ALL ONE IN CHRIST.
Ephesians 2:14 NKJV
[14] For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,
Jesus came to tear down every wall and unite us as one people under one accord with one heart and one mission! So, our neighbor who is a different race, our coworker who holds different political beliefs, our family member whose lifestyle we don’t agree with...they’re not so different than us. They are those whom Jesus came for, died for, and called us to make disciples of. They’re not our enemy!
Let us erase the lines in the sand, reach across party lines, and share the good news of Jesus, because “as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity”.

Good morning brothers and sisters! LIVE IN UNITY
Ephesians 4:3 NKJV
[3] endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Paul urges the Ephesians, and by extension us to live a life worthy of our calling, to be humble, gentle, patient, and loving, to make every effort to live in unity. This is because we are one body, through one Spirit, called to one hope, through one Lord, one faith, and one baptism, from one God. We are to be one. This is what it means to live in perfect unity and why we should do so.
Brethren, True Love Results in Unity. Paul also writes as God’s chosen people; as followers of Jesus, we are to live with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. We are to bear with one another and forgive one another, just as Jesus forgave us. These all fall under the umbrella of love, working together to produce perfect unity.

Good morning brothers and sisters! IT’S NOT BY OUR POWER BUT GOD'S POWER.
‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts. Zechariah 4:6b
Brethren, we would be foolish to think that we can
succeed without God, yet we find ourselves defaulting to our own methods, strength and wisdom to fight our battles.
One of the instructions that God gave to Joshua, was that the Ark of God was to be carried around the walls of Jericho and the reason is because God wants us to know, in order to access our Promised Land, we need His Presence to go before us.
This was the same revelation that Moses had, the moment he
realized that the blessings of God would be worthless if God Himself, was not present: Then Moses said, “If you don’t personally go with us, don’t make us leave this place. Exodus 33:15

Good morning brothers and sisters! FAITH IS AN ESSENTIAL ELEMENT IN OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD
Hebrews 11:6 - "Now without faith it is impossible to please God, since the one who draws near to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him."
Brethren, without faith, a relationship with God, according is not possible.
God gave the Israelites an unconventional plan to see the walls come crumbling down; By faith, they believed what God said, and they did what He said.
Sometimes, God gives instructions about how to approach the walls in our lives; that don’t make sense. The question isn’t whether or not it makes sense. The question is, do we trust God enough to put our faith in His ways? When we walk in faith, God will make the path straight.

Good morning brothers and sisters! SUFFERING IS MOMENTARY
II Corinthians 4:17 NKJV
[17] For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,
It's easy to get wrapped up in the drama of our world. We see a lot of distressing things on the news. Our loved ones are experiencing troubles. There’s a new diagnosis in our family. It’s overwhelming, but Paul calls these troubles “light.”
How? Paul knows a thing or two about troubles. He was beaten, imprisoned, stoned, shipwrecked, put on trial, accused, and beaten down. In light of all of his suffering, we ought to listen and learn from him because he’s right! In light of eternity, our troubles are momentary.
Therefore, let’s not lose heart! Everything we see is momentary; it’s a passing cloud. Everything we can’t see will remain. Let’s fix our gaze on those things and behold the glory of our risen Savior! As the famous hymn says, “The things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace.”

Good morning brothers and sisters! BOAST IN THE BIBLICAL HOPE
Romans 5:5 NKJV
[5] Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Everything we think or feel needs to be held up to the Word of God to see how it compares. We must ask ourselves if our thoughts, actions, and feelings line up with the truth of God’s Word. Hope by the world’s standards is packed with much uncertainty, because “I hope” is nothing more than “I wish.”
When we allow the Bible to define our understanding of hope, the trial we face begins to look less overwhelming. The biblical hope offered to us by God is drastically different, it’s an absolute assurance of a future outcome...“the glory of God.” The glory of God doesn’t always look the way we think. His ways are not our ways.
Our hope is not in circumstances but in God’s character, power, might, and compassion. God will not let our trials go to waste, which means our pain has a divine purpose. Struggles mold and shape us into the image of His beloved Son.
Many mature Christians can say with absolute certainty that their trials today will produce a positive outcome down the road. It’s the down-the-road part that we hate. It's so easy to lose sight of the positive outcome in the midst of pain.
Paul, speaking from experience, says the pain of the trial will produce patience, experience, and hope. Okay, sign us up! We all want patience, but we’d prefer to skip the hard, messy part, the troubles, and the testing of our faith.

Good morning brothers and sisters! WE ARE GOD'S CHILDREN
I John 3:8-9 NKJV
[8] He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. [9] Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.
Brethen, the devil wants us back in his family. He’ll tell us that we can’t change. He’ll tell us that no new family could ever want us. He’ll tell us that when our adopted dad finds out who we truly are, He’ll drop us in a heartbeat. And we’ll come running back. Abusive parents are like that.
Jesus came to destroy the devil’s work. Not just his lies, but the hooks he has in us and all the ways he plays on us to be like him. Those hooks go deep and our scars will show it, but God has given us a new start. A birth from above. He’s making us new from the inside out!

Good morning brothers and sisters! GOD IS ALWAYS PRESENT
Matthew 28:20 NKJV
[20] teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
We can always trust God to fulfill His promises because He is always present. He never changes. He will not go back on His Word, and He will always be available to do what He said He would.
We may be tempted to lose sight of God’s promises during difficult times. Many of us are becoming discouraged or distracted because of what the world is throwing at us. One would think that these things are omnipotent and omnipresent, but it is not. God is all-powerful. God is everywhere. The obstacles may be in many places, but it does not have the whole world in its hands, and it can and will be defeated.

Good morning brothers and sisters! PRIVATE MOMENT WITH GOD.
Matthew 6:6 NKJV
[6] But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
Brethren, we need to realize that having a hidden life with the Lord Jesus is essential if we want to have a meaningful Christian life.
Getting away from life’s hustle and bustle to have private time with the Lord isn’t optional; our spiritual lives depend on it. Without it, our spiritual life will eventually dry up. It will be difficult for us to live for the Lord, love Him, or overcome temptation.
Having personal, even secret time with the Lord in private is invaluable. This is when we can confess our sins to Him, be spiritually nourished in His Word, and fellowship intimately with Him about anything on our heart. At times like this, we enjoy His nearness in our spirit. Calling on His name in such an atmosphere is so sweet. And unlike with other things, we can say that we never regret spending time like this with the Lord.

Good morning brothers and sisters! BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO PERCEIVE THE SPIRITUAL INSIGHT.
Matthew 13:16, "But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear."
In this verse, Jesus contrasts His disciples' understanding with those who cannot grasp His teachings. The disciples are blessed because they perceive the truth that others miss.
This blessing is not about physical sight or hearing. It is about recognizing the divine truth in Jesus' teachings. It is about the ability to see beyond the ordinary and hear the whisper of God's voice in the chaos. This spiritual insight is a gift, one that opens our hearts to God’s Kingdom and His work in our lives.
In today’s fast-paced world, distractions abound. Technology, social media, and constant noise can cloud our spiritual vision. Yet, the call to see and hear remains. Our eyes and ears can be blessed if we choose to focus on Christ. By setting aside time for prayer, meditation, and reading Scripture, we cultivate spiritual awareness. This practice helps us recognize God’s presence and guidance in our everyday lives.
Jesus assures us that true happiness comes from seeing and hearing God’s truth. It is about discerning His voice amid the noise and acknowledging His presence in our journey.

Good morning brothers and sisters! WORSHIP GOD WITH GLADNESS
Psalms 100:2 NKJV
[2] Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing.
Brethren, when reflecting on the history of the early church, we see that the first Christians often faced persecution. Despite their trials, they found joy in their faith and service. They sang hymns while imprisoned and rejoiced in their sufferings because they knew they were serving a higher purpose. This historical perspective can inspire us to find joy in our service, no matter our circumstances.
In our modern lives, we can apply this by serving our communities with a joyful heart. Whether it’s volunteering at a local shelter, being kind to a neighbor, or simply doing our daily tasks with a positive attitude, we are worshiping God through our actions.

Good morning brothers and sisters! PERSISTENT PRAYER
Luke 18:1 NKJV
[1] Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart,
This verse is a reminder of the power and necessity of persistent prayer. In our fast-paced, instant-gratification world, patience and persistence can feel like foreign concepts. Yet, Jesus emphasizes them as essential elements of a faithful life.
Brethren, Prayer is not just about asking for what we want or need; it is a continuous conversation with God. Through prayer, we align our hearts with His will and grow spiritually. It invites God's presence into every aspect of our lives and strengthens our relationship with Him.
Consider how often we grow weary when prayers seem unanswered. It can be easy to give up or question God's timing. But this verse encourages us to keep praying, trusting that God hears us and is working in ways we may not see immediately. Prayer builds our faith and perseverance, key components of spiritual growth.
Moreover, Jesus' instruction to "not lose heart" is a call to resilience. Life's challenges can feel overwhelming, but through constant prayer, we find strength and hope. It reminds us that we are not alone but supported by the Creator who loves us deeply.

Good morning brothers and sisters! WORSHIP IN THE BEAUTY OF HOLINESS.
Psalms 96:9 NIV
[9] Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness; tremble before him, all the earth.
Holiness is an essential aspect of worship. It signifies being set apart, pure, and dedicated to God. When we worship in the beauty of holiness, we approach God with reverence and awe, recognizing His purity and worthiness. Worshiping in holiness means we strive to live lives that reflect God's nature, seeking to be holy as He is holy.
This verse also reminds us of the importance of giving God the glory due to His name. In our daily lives, we can often get caught up in the busyness and forget to pause and honor God. Yet, He deserves our utmost respect and admiration. True worship is a lifestyle, not just a Sunday activity. It involves a daily commitment to live in a way that honors God and acknowledges His greatness in every aspect of our lives.

Good morning brothers and sisters! JESUS, THE LIVING WORD, IS THE FOUNDATION OF EVERYTHING.
John 1:1 NIV
[1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The Gospel of John tells us that which tells us that Jesus is not just a teacher, prophet, or good man; He is the eternal Word of God, the expression of God's love and truth made flesh.
When we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, we are choosing to build our lives on a solid, unshakeable foundation. Think of building a house: if the house is built on soft, unstable ground, it is vulnerable to storms, winds, and earthquakes. But if it is built on a strong, solid foundation - like bedrock - it can withstand any storm.
Jesus made this clear when He said that anyone who hears His words and puts them into practice is like a wise man building on the rock. When life's storms come; whether difficulties, loss, or doubts; those who build their lives on Jesus' teachings will remain steady and secure.
Brethren, when our thoughts, attitudes, and actions are rooted in God's truth, our minds become more stable. Our mental health benefits when we anchor ourselves in what is eternal and trustworthy.
When we focus on God's promises, we experience less anxiety and fear because we know that His Word is unchanging and trustworthy. It provides us with a sense of security that no earthly thing can give.
Spiritually, Jesus is the Living Word - He is alive and active today. His words are not just stories from the past; they are living truths that speak directly into our hearts. When we read and meditate on Scripture, His words become alive in us, guiding our decisions, comforting us in sorrow, and inspiring hope in despair. The more we listen and obey His Word, the more our lives are built on the unshakeable foundation of His truth.
Building our lives on Jesus’ Word also involves trusting His love, His grace, and His plans for us. It is about recognizing that His words are meant to give us life - abundant life. When we face difficulties, His promises remind us that we are not alone. His love is constant, His mercy is new every morning, and His Word is the anchor that keeps us steady amid life's storms.
In practical terms, building on Jesus’ Word means starting each day with Scripture, listening to His voice, and applying His teachings in our daily routines. It also means sharing His truth with others so that they, too, may build their lives on the firm foundation of Christ.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for being the foundation of my life. Help me to build my heart and my daily routines on Your Word. When storms come, give me the strength to stand firm on the unshakeable truth of Your promises. Fill my mind with Your peace, and guide my steps each day. May my life reflect Your stability, hope, and love. In Your name, I pray. Amen.

Good morning brothers and sisters! STAND VICTORIOUS WITH GOD.
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. Romans 6:14, kjv
Brethren, we must always remember that we are triumphant in Christ Jesus. Jesus won the victory over death and sin. Sin may try to seek entry in deceptive ways, but it can never have dominion over us.
Let us shout praises to the Lord of Lords when temptations try to come our ways. Let us be an alert soldier wearing the full armor of God.

Good morning brothers and sisters! BE OBEDIENCE TO GOD
Isaiah 1:19 NIV
[19] If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land;
In the book of Joshua, God instructed the people of Israel to carry the trumpets, with the ark of the Lord following for six days, and they were not to speak. On the seventh day they were to follow this routine with one addition: They were to shout in glory to God because the city had been delivered to them.
Their obedience to God produced wonders. We read of no negative spirit, discouragement, or disbelief. As they marched circle after circle around the city, I'm sure they could see the seeming impossibility of the situation. Yet they walked.
Brethren, Obedience is the key. Compliance is the key to the moving of God's mighty hand in our lives.
Many today pride themselves on living within reason, but God called His people to live by faith. We are to walk in faith and obedience to His direction and leadership in our lives.
