We’re home and all of my guitars survived. I can’t say how we spent the last few days is something I’d like to do again, but I’m glad for the life experience. At least now I know how to handle my shit in a disastrous situation. Plus side, right?

I’m so glad your guitars made it through. I can’t imagine the kinds of damage you may have suffered if your guitars were destroyed in the flooding.

Even though Thanksgiving is already finished, I’m still finding things that I’m forever thankful for. Right now, every single part of my own house is something I am thankful for. And pizza. I will forever be thankful that pizza exists.

In honor of my thankfulness for pizza, I will happily order and pay for pizza for anybody who wants it all weekend. I feel like we all deserve it after the week we’ve had.

This was definitely a crazy Thanksgiving, most definitely. It was one for the books.

Apparently Trolls has a holiday special and to say the least, I have no idea what was going on. I don’t know if its because Im coming down with something or what but Marissa used her pout to convince me to watch it with her, but I didn’t understand that at all. Unrelated news, I can say that Im glad to be back at my pop’s and actual have food. How’s everyone doing?

Looks like my shop will be closed for a few days until we can get my front window fixed, and everything gets cleaned up. I’m really glad everyone I love is safe and accounted for, grateful even, but I’d be even more grateful if my store was in better shape. Presents might be a little scarce this year, unfortunately.

Someone please tell me I’m not the only one who pounced on a family member after that stupid ass storm. If I was any taller, I’d have straight up taken my mama down in one fell swoop. Luckily I didn’t, because I’d have felt awful about that, but I’m pretty pissed at the weather for keeping me away  for so long. Here’s to hoping everyone else made it home safe and sound.

I definitely gave my siblings a big hug after I saw them for the first time. I trust you and everybody else you love is okay?

I gotta say, alcohol seemingly tastes a billion times better after not having that much when we were locked up. I’ll be in the comfort of my apartment all day making up for lost time. Thank fucking god that storm is over, it was such a drag.

There’s some damage around town, if anyone needs help with anything I will be volunteering at my church to help cook meals for those in need. And if you want to help, we would love volunteers to help with anything people may need, whether it be donating goods or giving some time to help rebuild….our community needs it. The last thing I want is for any of my fellow Cotton Planters to suffer, so tomorrow my church will be working on projects, come by if you have the time.

Other than that, I do hope everyone is okay and if anyone needs a hug my arms are wide open.

I went to get breakfast with my parents this morning, to catch up with them after the storm and whatnot, and my mom just gave me a large box filled with all of my homemade Christmas decorations that I did, when I was like 4. So guess who’s starting the Christmas decorating throughout the next week? This fella!

Can I be a part of the Evans family breakfast at some point?
