Hello!

I made this comic last year for a project in collaboration with a writer I had worked with before. Unfortunately, due to health reasons, he couldn’t move forward with it, so the project is currently on hold.

The story is about a boxer fleeing his hometown after refusing to throw a fight — a simple premise, but it takes place in the pre-established world of a comic called "A Balada do Calibre .38" (The Ballad of the .38 Caliber), a noir crime story set in a dystopian region in northern Brazil.

Although I wasn’t familiar with the show before working on this piece, the project was a real pleasure to work on. The client was great to collaborate with — respectful, clear, and open to my creative process, which made the experience even more rewarding.
