I love you movies about monsters. I love you movies where the monsters are scared and lonely and desperate for connection. I love you movies where the monsters are only monsters because society decided they were scary, because being afraid of them was easier than trying to understand them. I love you movies where there's one person willing to doubt the hatred and prejudice they were taught even if it means going against everything they've ever known. I love you movies where one person is enough to break entire generations of hate and violence. I love you movies where one person accepting you can actually make the difference. I love you movies about monsters.

"Of course I'll hurt you. Of course you'll hurt me. Of course we will hurt each other. But this is the very condition of existence. To become spring, means accepting the risk of winter. To become presence, means accepting the risk of absence..."
- Antoine de Saint Exupéry, The Little Prince (via books-n-quotes)
