#Vi <3<3<3<3#design wise she’s my absolute favorite of the 3#the amount of bee characters I’ve made modeled off of her is uncountable#and I have a feeling I’ll be in a similar situation to her as I grow older#due to that I hope her story will grow more personal to me as time goes on#weirdly enough despite me ending up thinking about Kabbu more#Vi’s request actually got more of a reaction out if me on my first playthrough#feeling like you can never truly apologize for what you did or said#knowing somebody who just won’t forgive you#that’s a topic I can relate to quite a bit#even if things got resolves with Jaune#squeezes her and pours milk on her and throws her at a wall /ref#first playthrough my ranking of the requests would’ve gone Kabbu Vi Leif#I really like the sister’s dynamic#and I know it’d make no sense but I wish Jaune could’ve had more impact#she’s interesting to me#and though Kabbu has things I can point at and go ‘oh that’s what that meant!’ and Leif has ‘oh that foreshadows the cordyceps!’ along with#my body horror bias#Vi’s request feels a lot more . grounded? to me? more real#it isn’t some fantastical problem#or deep rooted trauma#not to imply this didn’t impact her. clearly it did#but it’s a lot easier for me to see myself in her shoes#which I really appreciate#there’s a different facet of baggage for every request. it shows how problems impact people at her age#how giant things seem to be and . rarely. actually are#in a world with firebending kings turning to trees and mushroom infested moths#Vi’s raw family trouble and her desire to mend things burns like a bright flame just like her character does#rebugged#everlasting rambling
