Ok I just have to get this off my chest…if you dislike a character in the acotar series because they remind you of someone that has wronged you, that is completely valid and that’s ok. You have every right to be mad at that character and feel that way!!

However, if you use that as an excuse to invade someone’s else’s safe space where they’re expressing their love to that character because they relate to them, that is not ok. You have absolutely no right to do that. Your trauma is 100% valid but if you trauma dump on a space that is created for fans who relate to that characters trauma, you seriously need to stop.

As a Rhys, Feyre and Nesta stan, I can acknowledge their wrongs and that they have both done messed up crap, but the reason that I love them is because I directly relate to their trauma and how they react as a result to it. It doesn’t excuse what they’ve done and I know that, but I like them for a reason and it’s because they’re relatable to me. That’s why I love them. And if you can’t understand why that is, then I can’t help you there because I don’t owe you an explanation as to why I relate to them. And I’m pretty sure it’s not that difficult to piece together anyways!!!!!

And like…I don’t know if you realise this but if it really bothers you that much, you can block them and move on because interacting with that kind of content will only expose you to more of it because that’s how algorithms work!!!!

Your trauma is valid, but so is everyone else’s and you have no right to shame them for that or call them abuse sympathisers, etc. It’s gross…

So please stop it…thanks!!!!!

I hate how the acotar fandom constantly put the women against each other. Especially the Archeron’s. Like just stfu and stop being such petty bitches and just appreciate the women in the series.

They’re all dealing with their own shit and deserve some respect and praise for how far they’ve all come. And we see through their actions and how they communicate with others that they’re still heavily dealing with their trauma. Yes, even Amren. None is better than the other. They’ve all done questionable/controversial stuff so there’s literally no point putting them against each other. No one is winning. And I swear to god shut up with the goddamn internalised misogyny at your grown ass age.

And if you can’t do any of that then just leave the fandom. It’s not that difficult!!!
