Hello! My name is Fa Mulan I hope you're well. *smiles softly* I currently live with my family in China. I do most of the chores around the farm and try to be as helpful as I can to my parents and grandmother. I love meeting people so don't be afraid to talk to me. -- ((OOC: This is a side roleplay blog so unfortunately I can't follow back but I will follow with my main Mulan RP account here. Unlike my main this blog doesn't belong to any roleplay group so with that I'm going to ignore Mulan II (I don't like the sequel so I"m not gonna bother with it). Mulan's story just ends with the first film so she and Shang are NOT married. I made this so I would be able to roleplay things I would otherwise be unable to on my main. And I guess that's all there is to say. ))

"Oh? That sounds nice." Mulan tried to imagine it. She had seen waterfalls before back home but...
come to think of it I've never seen one up close!
"I'd love to see," she said taking his hand while smiling.
@Mulan
Wiggins nodded, unsure if he was allowed to speak again.
The governor gave him a wary glance before turning back to Mulan. âWell,â he began, swishing his cape a bit. âIâm certainly glad that you have made it here safely. Is there perhaps anything in particular youâd like to do?â he asked her, adjusting the position of his hat.

"Thank you so am I." She nodded. "Um, I'm not sure to be honest."
Mulan looked around camp unsure of what there was to do. She saw a few men carrying tools.
Maybe I can help with whatever that is.

Mulan blinked. "Oh...pretty bad then?"
She looked between the two men. She couldn't help but notice how well the two communicate without words.
They're that close, she figured. Then she couldn't help but wonder if she and the governor would reach that kind of closeness.
Me and Shang were kind of like that...he'd look at me and I just knew what he meant...
The thought of the young general reminded her how long it had been since she had seen him.
He's probably still protecting the borders back home.
Mulan shook away the thoughts of Shang. It was still kind of weird to think about him.
Besides you should be thinking of other things girl!
@Mulan
âWell, I certainly glad that youâre alright now,â the governor told her, smiling a bit. Indeed, Mulan was more experienced with traveling by land instead of sea.Â
Wiggins listened to every detail of her story intently, his eyes wide. âOh, I completely understand,â he nodded, beaming. âWhy, on one of the first days on our ship, I-â
The governor softly cleared his throat to signal that Wiggins not tell Mulan the gruesome story, and the manservant obediently fell silent.

"Oh, he's not harassing me," Mulan told Ratcliffe while smiling in assurance. "We're just two friends catching up."
She turned her smile to Wiggins and started to tell him about her journey to Virginia. Describing interesting things that had happened to her during the voyage. Like before she had gotten her sea-legs and was sick for a while at the beginning of the journey. "I've never really been on a ship for that long!"
@Mulan
âHello, Ms. Fa!â Wiggins cheerfully waved back, his excitement frightening Percy. âItâs lovely to see you again. How was your journey from China? I do hope my map was an assistance.â
Ratcliffe gently took the pug from his manservant, smirking at his enthusiasm. âDonât harass her, Wiggins,â he warned the slender man, although Mulan seemed to be very fond of him. Well, he did use those chopsticks perfectly, he recalled, frustrated that he himself had not been able to move the wooden sticks as flawlessly.

Mulan made her way down the hill toward Ratcliffe and smiled at the sight of Wiggins and Percy with him. It was nice to see those two again.
"Hey!" She waved before getting closer to the two men and the dog.
A bit of embarrassment rose in her however in what she was going to ask...
@Mulan
âHello, sir!â Wiggins greeted the governor cheerfully as he entered the camp, Percy kept gently in his arms.Â
Ratcliffe turned at his manservantâs voice. âThere you are! Where have you been?â he demanded.
Wiggins pouted, confused by his unhappiness. âI was with Percy, sir. You told me-â
âI know what I told you. Listen to me. We have to find somewhere else to stay for the night. Mulanâs going to be using our tent,â he explained, hoping the man could use his resourceful nature to find an alternative place to sleep.
âOut of curiosity, sir, why didnât she bring her own tent?â
âDonât you know itâs ungentlemanly not to provide one, Wiggins?â

Mulan's face went through expressions quickly. Her face morphing from sad and sympathetic to shocked before turning to murderous.
"What?" She exclaimed, her face reddening with anger towards the vizier.
She looked Jane over again with narrowed eyes. Her friend was such a mess and it was no wonder!
My Friend, I Have Made a Mistake Jane//Mulan
Jane practically threw her arms around Mulan; burying her face into the nook of her shoulder. The sobs racked her body as she held onto the other woman. After a few moments of attempting to say something, Jane was finally able to nod her head and say âyes pleaseâ. Pulling away from her friend, the British woman took her own hands and wiped away those tears that stained her cheeks. The poor girl looked like a wreck. Her hair was out of itâs neat bun, her dress lacked the petticoat, and she didnât even wear her white gloves. Jane never left the house without them.
When Mulan guided her to the living room, she took a seat on the cushion that rested on the floor. âMulan.I should have listened to you and the GovernorâŚI never should have trusted that man.â Of course she was referring to Jafar and the evening on the boat. Her head hung low and she silently sobbed once more, so shamed of herself. âHe and IâŚ,â she started, her words a bit hard to understand, âWeâŚ,â her hand moved in circular motions as if it would help pull the words from her mouth. âHe took advantage of meâŚ,â she choked out, a cry following behind it. Jane would soon tell Mulan that it wasnât all him but in fact she had fell into his trap and was equally as guilty.

When Mulan answered the door she certainly didn't expect to see her friend crying her heart out. Immediately she helped the other girl inside the house, all while murmuring soft comforting things. She then pulled the other girl into her arms, tracing small circles on her back.
"Oh, Jane," she said softly. "You want to talk about it?"
What kind of mistake have you made Jane?
My Friend, I Have Made a Mistake Jane//Mulan
Jane had rushed as quickly as she could to reach her friendâs house. Her heart was pounding and her mind was racing. What had she done? Her world was crashing down and it was all her fault. As she ran through Mulanâs yard, the young British woman could hardly see through the tears that clouded her vision. She so hoped her friend could comfort and forgive her; she needed to be told everything would be okay and it wasnât her fault that she was so weak and did what she did.
Jane knocked on Mulanâs door, those searing tears streaming down her face. When her friend answered, the young Brit looked to Mulan before breaking down and crying. âMulanâŚI made such a huge mistake!â Jane needed a friend more than anything in the world right now.

Mulan entered the tent and set her bag down. The tent was quite spacious.
"It might be a little bigger than the tent Shang and Shifu had at camp," she muttered to herself.
She looked about again.
"I don't need all this space," she held her chin in thought. "I'll go ask if he wants to just share."
She blushed at the thought.
Oh, c'mon...you've slept with the other guys around camp before...wow that did not sound right. Uggggh...
"I wish I could shut my brain up," she said glumly as she exited the tent.
@Mulan
âWell, yes, technically,â he admitted, getting an odd look from the crew. âBut Wiggins and I have another tent that hasnât been set up yet.â He hoped this was true, because he was running out of ideas for places he could stay.
Well, the savages make shelter out of trees, donât they? He couldnât recall, but he decided that following the steps of the natives would be a poor decision. They were rather uncivilized, and therefore their houses couldnât be well built.

"Oh, well, alright then." She felt relief knowing her boyfriend had somewhere else to sleep.
Mulan started to climb up the small hill toward the tent.

Mulan looked to where he pointed. She noted the size and looked back at Ratcliffe. "That's your tent isn't it?"
She frowned before he gave her an answer. She didn't want to take away where he slept.
You should've listened to your mother, Mulan! She told you to bring something like that.
@Mulan
It took Ratcliffe a moment to realize that he had not set up a tent for Mulan. He had been so focused on preparing the crew that it had slipped his mind. And it didnât appear that she had brought her own.
Give her your tent. You can find some place else.
Although the idea of staying somewhere other than his own tent was a bit unnerving, he decided it was best. âOver there, if itâs alright with you,â he told her, pointing toward the large tent at the top of the small hill.

"It's no trouble," she said still holding her bag. "Just tell me where I'll be sleeping and I'll put it away?"
She looked around and figured one of these tents would probably be where she'd sleep.
Maybe I should've brought my own...
@Mulan
âAnd believe me, weâre happy youâre here,â smirked Ben, his Scottish accent muffling his voice.
Ratcliffe softly cleared his throat. âSo, is there anything youâd like to see here?â he asked Mulan.

Mulan blinked, unsure of what to make of what Ben said. She looked at Ratcliffe and smiled. "Um, honestly, anything? Maybe let me put my things away first?"
She gestured to the bag she was holding.

Mulan was glad the misunderstanding was squared away. "Anyway, I'm happy to be here."
@Mulan
âI thought your first name was Mulan,â Lon asked, glancing at the woman with confusion.
Ratcliffe sighed at the manâs confusion. âNo, in China, their last names come before their first,â he explained.
ââŚBut sheâs from Japan, isnât she?â
