Wanted to be an argumentative little shit today, so I opened up the bird app & started scrolling, hoping to find some random flunkie to smartass.

After a few minutes of scrolling depressingly AI-like ‘I’m going to say nothing, but phase it as if it were witty’ & “Haha _____ deserved it (they were murdered)” comments, that impulse became more dead than the Irish Elk.

In conclusion, no, the bird app doesn’t seem to provide a societal good, but today it did stop me in particular from wasting my energy on anger.

Sometimes I draw stars on myself in black sharpie, and I always look in the mirror afterwards and think “Well, that looks much better! I don’t look nearly as unnatural and incorrect with these. Now I sort of look like me!”

My body as it is just doesn’t feel like it’s really my body. Everything else of mine is decorated and shiny and full of personality, and then my body is just like.. a single tone canvas. It doesn’t fit in with anything else that I would describe as mine.
