This year I have been lead to take on a greater role in the DEW Ministry at River of Life Church in Temple Hills, Maryland. Serving as the Creative Director of our church's dance ministry has come with trials and triumphs. But, the gratification that has come with doing something that I love and being able to impact the lives of others is well worth any obstacles that we face as a ministry.

On Easter we ministered to Breathe Your Name by Israel & New Breed. The lyrics to this song serve as a daily call to God; a prayer asking God to direct our paths and to heal our hearts. Throughout the week, I focus on letting go and letting God take control of my life.

In turn, letting go draws others to towards us to impart their wisdom, experience, and sometimes their vulnerabilities as well.
