When Steven is in the tower is he ever let out or does he just sit there rotting away for years? Does he even get to shower? How do they feed him? Do they just open the door and hope he doesn’t run out? Do the diamonds never visit him?

Is this blog going to continue?

1) Steven is never let out his punishment was to sit and rot until the diamonds decide they want to let him out which only happens when Spinel and the Crystal Gems come around. Before the start of Era 3 Steven had never left the tower once he was put in it. This is a major part of Steven’s character since he never really had any interactions with anyone for most of his life and so many of his formative years he was rotting away with only Lion to keep him company.

2) Steven is a very stinky boy for the most part. Occasionally Steven is bathed by gems while in the tower where it’s mostly them putting soap on him and then splashing water to rinse him off. This is also when he will get a new change of clothes.

3) They made a tiny gap to slip food and water to him. Again they want to isolate him so they keep interactions to the bare minimum.

4) Before the gap was made they did open the doors to slip in food and Steven tried to run but he was punished for that and learned the hard way not to do that.

5) They never visited him until right before Era 3 begun. The three didn’t quite know what to do with him and were still resentful.

6) The blog will continue. Right now we are thinking about posting episodes, having interactive asks open, and posting stuff from all over the timeline.

Confirmed to be true. It’s not spoilerish as it’s pretty obvious. In canon the biggest drive for them to change was Steven’s connection with Pink Diamond and proving them wrong. White is embarrassed and realized she isn’t perfect and always right so if that’s true then maybe everything she did was wrong? This AU doesn’t have that connection. To them they were wrong with Steven but it wasn’t really an embarrassing ordeal more like them feeling guilty. They know they messed up but it wasn’t this big deeply rooted thing as Steven didn’t really occupy their thoughts more, or at least not what “perfect White Diamond.” Her investment wasn’t that much so when she realized she wrong him it was more up of a slip in the moment and not a fully conscious and long time decision. Also to them they were somewhat right but went about it wrong.

White also can justify it all as her “letting Blue do what Blue needs to do to heal” so she doesn’t take responsibility and have to face that maybe she isn’t right in everything. It’s not like they really care too much about Spinel when they have Steven. Unlike in the movie they didn’t truly change so they won’t understand Steven’s position and move on.

Okay but for your rp au did the diamonds change in the way that they feel bad but only about what they did with Steven but are tricking Spinel to get close to him and won’t really change?

I love that idea, already talked to the crew, we aren’t too far past CYM so we can add that twist. Right now we’re just at Spinel returning to Earth with the rest and talking to Steven. Steven had left before they confronted the Diamonds and Spinel used Pink’s legacy and Steven’s treatment against White so in her eyes, she did mess up but just with her treatment with Steven, a wrong that can easily be corrected. We’re going to try having the Diamonds still have supreme control and just making it look like they changed. We all agree they would do anything to get Steven back and he’s not coming back to them. Steven’s living his life on Earth with his father and slowly developing a romantic relationship with Connie son he’s happy. Either version the Diamonds would know that they screwed up bad and Steven would never willingly see them again and we all see that as a point for the Diamonds, Steven is what they care about now and if they don’t force him to be with them he would just not be with them.

EverythingStays Baby!Steven. The words are the last words he heard before being locked away. They were spoken by a very angry Blue Diamond.

Lighter skin from having barely any light so he has ghost-like skin. His hair has lightened out with age so is darker. The skin and hair color palate is from little Steven in the show. Looks emo because the tear stains are starting to form.

He got the bandaid from lion who coughed it up. Good thing he got into the first aid before they were captured.

Blue Diamond is the cruelest of the Diamonds in the RP!Steven AU toward Steven when he is on trial and before he leaves after the Era 3 Ball. Afterwards Blue Diamond is the most depressed one now that Spinel has convinced White to give gems more freedom and to stop destroying life on other planets. With Steven gone she doesn’t have Pink’s greatest lost treasure. Steven was Pink’s legacy and she feels like she failed Pink. Now with Steven digging his heels in and refusing o visit despite their pleas they are slowly getting tired of waiting. Spinel is trying her best to keep them from returning to their old habits but even she doesn’t know where Steven is.

Will the Diamonds go back to how things were before Spinel convinced them to change? It seems unlikely when Steven avoids everyone but Connie and Connie can’t convince her boyfriend to visit the demons from his past.

My main AU Blue Diamond’s just possessive and overbearing toward Steven as she is overprotective of Pink’s hybrid offspring. She adores Steven and tends to check up on him whenever she has the time and has him visit her at her pool.

More rp Steven, set after CYM, Steven is with Greg, getting better and receiving therapy. He’s still buff but less so since he now isn’t spending all of his days working out but still does work out and still is buff and athletic.

Steven was taken as a kid and no one did anything so when Spinel starts lecturing Steven about Crystal Gems sticking together and asking favors from him he breaks down. 

It was a fun scene with @anonymousauer and I going full on as Zach and @mwokozi369 watching. Zach left to get some popcorn as he and mwokozi read our little scene.
