Evie had been on her way back from a doctor’s appointment when it started. Paparazzi shouldn’t have been anything new to her at this point, even despite her family’s retreat from the spotlight, but it had been a while, and it was always a shock. She walked quickly down the street, head down and tears filling her eyes as she ignored the flashing cameras close behind. It seemed like a miracle that Levi happened to be there, and she let out a soft, relieved sigh as she caught sight of him. “Hey.” She managed weakly, taking his arm as she continued to walk.

Evie’s eyes widened as she noticed her sister sitting by herself. Stepping up onto the porch, she sat down beside her and put a hand gently on her shoulder. “Hey, kiddo. What’s going on?”

braylee’s eyes were glued to her phone screen, her thumb hovering over the touch pad in case she decided to keep scrolling. sitting there on her front porch she sniffled, a few tears rolling down her face before quickly sucking them up and wiping them away with the back of her sleeve when she saw someone across the street getting closer, silently thanking her parents for all of those acting classes.

Evie smiled. “Hey, Ryland. Glad to see you back.”

for the first time since christmas break, ryland found himself climbing out of a cab in front of his favorite coffee shop. he pulled his suitcase behind him, walking inside and ordering a black coffee. he sat himself in a booth by the window, keeping his suitcase close. he took a drink from his coffee, beginning to scroll through his phone. he jumped slightly, hearing a voice, “sorry! i wasn’t paying attention.”

hi all! i’m so sorry i’ve been missing- my mom’s been in the hospital for the past week, and i haven’t really had time for too much. i’m going to be on in a little while to do replies, and please feel free to message me for plotting!

“Naps are for the weak.” He teased, catching her by the waist so she couldn’t lean back away from him. “I’m fine, I swear. I’m not even tired at all.”

“Naps are for those who don’t overestimate their energy levels.” She corrected, laughing as she pressed a kiss to his lips.

oh my gosh okay i don’t have intro posts for either of my babies bc i’m the worst, but i’ll probably get around to it soon? but like this and i’ll hit you up to plot!!

"Hmmm.." Evie pretended to consider it for a moment. "Your choice."

"Okay, so we should probably start with some peroxide, to make sure it doesn't get infected." Evie nodded. "I'll see if I can find a first-aid kit."

She snorted, leaning over to kiss him on the cheek. "You should take a nap this afternoon, okay? I can take care of your siblings."

Evie raised an eyebrow. “You’re too young to be worrying about that assho- jerk, I mean.”

“Congratulations, there’s officially only 1378 days until Donald Trump’s time in the white house is over”

Evie tried to suppress a laugh. “I kept telling you to come to bed. It did look great, though.”

“A little girl came up to me today very concerned with the fact that my eyes looked ‘dead’ I informed her that I had been up all night watching braid tutorials so my daughter’s picture day hair could be perfect. She thought that was hilarious.”

Evie’s eyes widened. “Yeah, of course. I keep band-aids in my bag. One sec.”

“Do you by any chance know how to stop profuse bleeding? My iguana took a nice bite into my hand, and well….you can see the rest.”

Evie laughed, sliding into the seat across from her daughter. “You’re on, kiddo.”

“i bet you 25 cents i can beat you at tic tac toe.”
