i reach, i claw, and then i spiral down, i dive, and fall, and then i turn around. machines, unreal, built for nothing else, machines, can't feel, even when someone cares.

Breaking Point: Crimson

i always have complicated feelings about these hyper idealised figures. obviously for someone that otherwise looked so masculine for so long, drawing out a crazy feminine figure that i want is some sort of fulfillment. on the other hand this is clearly so fantastical that i sometimes feel unmoored from reality when i say "this is what i want to be".

somehow given the opportunity to look like anything i still think about being a really big lady, because im so tall in real life. i don't know if this is my way of saying dysphoria is inescapable so i just have to embrace it.

Is there a way we can financially support you?

not really at the moment. but i am a refugee currently, since its illegal to be trans in my home country. some day i might launch a fundraiser to help with certain costs around keeping me safe from being sent back there. just trying to manage that on my own for now.

Hey i just wanted to say that your art is so incredibly sick. It's got so much style and the designs are so so sooo unique. i love what you do with the textures so much and i hope you never stop making art you are such a big source of inspiration for me :]

:> there will be many more robots to come. one of my goals with my art is to draw something so unmistakably me that it can't be anything else, and i think im getting closer to that.

I’m in awe of your art <3 I have been thinking a lot about robots and stars lately as I’ve been writing a video game story I want to mark eventually and this nearly made me cry because someone else sees what I see. 🥹

i'm glad it connects so much! i usually spend a couple hours on these, so they're quite ephemeral for me. theres a story for why the robots look this way specifically but for now the drawings are just for fun little cooldowns in the evenings.

these two character pieces are usually meant to convey ambiguous connections, but i think i might not have enough experience with posing to really make the best of them just yet.

regardless, just having two of them together means there's a bit of motivation to contrast between them. maybe something about their designs tells you about what they're like.
