Personally I think that trans people don't make their own shelters because they over-inflate the problem of trans women being victims of SA and abuse and a bunch of almost-empty shelters would shatter the illusion of this being a highly-vulnerable group. Or shelters full of trans men would prove feminists' point that sex is the axis of oppression, not gender identity. And if they have their own shelters they don't get to further traumatize vulnerable women or use them as props to gain validation for their delusions.

The House of Representatives is trying to introduce a federal ban on abortion.

On January 24th of this year, Missouri Representative Eric Burlison introduced a bill to the House Judiciary Committee called the “Life at Conception Act”/H. R. 722. Stated directly from Congress.gov, this bill would, “declare[] that the right to life guaranteed by the Constitution is vested in each human being at all stages of life, including the moment of fertilization, cloning, or other moment at which an individual comes into being. Nothing in this bill shall be construed to authorize the prosecution of any woman for the death of her unborn child.”

Although the bill directly states that it will not authorize the prosecution of woman for the death of the fetus, state laws can authorize the prosecution of these women. If this bill is passed, we will essentially end up with any sort of abortion being “murder”—even if medically necessary. This bill seeks to control women and place bans on our bodily autonomy. This bill wants girls who have been raped and abused to have the result of the horrors they’ve been through.

In order to help prevent this bill from passing in the house, we must kill it where it stands. Call your representatives, especially the ones that sponsored the bill. Ask the representatives that sponsored the bill why they want to control women’s bodies. Ask them why they want girl’s to carry their rapists’ children to term.

Only the biological female sex is capable of getting pregnant but not all biological females can get pregnant, that’s not hard thing to understand and transgender men are female and that is why they can get pregnant.

this is honestly the result of what happens when we agree that the only thing that should matter is gender identity in order to have unfettered access to spaces that back then did not belong to you based on biological characteristics such as your sex. because, who's to say that he just decides he felt like a woman for the 5 or so minutes he wanted to go harass the women there? (he did, in fact, harassed the women there)

good on the woman here for standing up for herself and all the other women there, it took a lot of strength to do that especially in an environment that is traditionally known as being toxic for upholding misogynistic views in general.

this should serve as a reminder for why female exclusive gyms need to not only be normalized, but legally protected against both "cis" men and trans identified males.
