hard to believe 2022 is behind us and this was my first trip outside china since 2020. same time last year we were going through shanghai lockdown where we had ti spend few hours a day in food wechat groups, making sure we can have food on our tables. this was my clumsiest trip ever. i totally forgot how it is to travel. i started the trip from wrong airport terminal jumping into subway and walking 500 m to another terminal. the expected feeling of being back to familiar city i know well (seoul) was so unexpected. city changed much. we walked around pretty much knowing every step and direction, knowing that we (@onnagata and me) have to squeeze into 3 days everything and talk about past 3 years. it was quite intense and gratifying at the same time. ‘overdeepening’ is composed of two half rings, reflective surface and a water pond, representing the mind, the emotional subconscious & the physical body that supports the mind & emotions. i like the fact that, this being my first trip outside china in 3 years with my bestie, we stumbled upon this installation, which in best way explains the way physical supports the emotional. just like @onnagata knew it was time to do this now already traditional trip that we used to make before covid times, which came just in the right time, with finally being placed elsewhere physically so that mind can be rejuvenated again. thank you amigo🤍 (at Amore Pacific) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cqt0frGPHba/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
