Recruiting can make or break your team. It is what makes you stronger and helps you compete more the following season. When you make mistakes during a season or you feel that you are missing a key piece to success, how you change that is with recruiting. They are the added firepower to help make improvements and give you the edge to winning the following season. It’s important to follow agencies so you see the talent that is present and you can exploit. It is not always big agencies you follow but more of the small time that can help you most. There is a lot of overlooked talent that can be passed on due to the lack popularity, but still would have a great impact on your team and could be the missing puzzle piece for you as a coach. So do not be afraid to broaden your view and make sure you not to have such a high expectation. There could be a diamond in the rough just waiting for you to pick them, and with the right coach can become the you need and want.

Sports is the one thing that unites everyone in the world. It is the largest community in the world and is driven by love and passion for each individual game. It is the largest source of entertainment in my opinion and for something so big, you need to have the correct stage.
Camp Nou
Camp Nou was first opened in 1957. Located in Barcelona, Spain, Camp Nou is home to the European soccer power house Barcelona. The $1.73 billion stadium with a capacity of 99, 354, has an atmosphere that is one of the best in the world and can be heard miles from the Stadium. The record attendance for game is a staggering 120,000.
Wembley
England’s unofficial Royal palace is the home of sports in the United Kingdom. One of Europe’s most newly built stadiums, constructed in 2007. The capacity is 90,000 and is known as the home of football across the world. England is the capital national for football, soccer for my American friends so its fitting to have such a master piece in the heart of England.
Allianz Arena
Beautiful to say the least, the Allianz Arena located in Munich Germany is unique compared to other stadiums across Europe. Constructed in 2002, the stadium took three years to build and was opened in 2005. The cost of construction was $340 million and is one of the only stadiums with the ability to change colors. The stadium Capacity is 75,000 and is home of the German/ European big 5 team, Bayern Munich.

Santiago Bernabeu
Home of Barcelona’s rivals, Real Madrid the stadium was fist constructed in 1947. Although Barcelona may have the better stadium, the Santiago buernubeu is home to the most successful club in Europe. Hosts of numerous “el classico” where Barcelona vs Real Madrid would compete for some of Europe’s most prestige trophies, the atmosphere at such a game is some of the world’s greatest. With nothing short of passion this is truly one of Europe’s famous stadiums.
Anfield Road
The is the greatest stadium in the world as its home to my favorite club Liverpool FC. The Fans is what makes this stadium what it is. Although he capacity is 45,300, you out the fans of Liverpool in the stands you will feel like there is 100,000. There famous saying posted on the walls “you’ll never walk alone” truly holds up o its name. You will never come across another set of fans that bring such a passion and love for the game that truly makes the atmosphere in this stadium one of the best in the world.
Croke Park
Located in Irelands capital Dublin, this is the home of their national sport Gaelic football and Hurling. There is no bigger stage to play on in Ireland then Croke Park. With the capacity of 80,000 this is Irelands biggest arena and one of Europe’s. Host to the all-Ireland county finals, you will find the stands full to the brim with people cheering their home county on. Irelands national sport requires the best of the best for their players to play on and Croke park is nothing short of that.
San Siro
The biggest stadium in Italy, San Siro is located in Milan and is home to Italy’s second biggest team, AC Milan. The stadium is the perfect for fans as everyone gets an equal view regardless of their ticket. Its design is an oval so that it gives everyone the perfect angle to view the game. Its capacity is 80,000. It is also situated in Milan. Who wouldn’t want to go to Milan.
Aviva
Irelands second biggest stadium and home to Irish football, this is the Football Association of Ireland (FAI)pride and joy. The Irish men’s National team plays here and has played some of the biggest countries in Europe. The Most Famous moment in this Arena is Shane longs goal that put Ireland into the European finals for the first time in over 20 years.  The Capacity is 45,000
Stadio Olimpico
One of the best atmospheres in soccer can be found in the Stadio Olimpico located in Turismo Italy. It is home to the football club Roma and fans have said that it can be overwhelming. The fans make the stadium by creating such an intimidation that players have often commented that hey hate to play Roma as their fans are some of the best in the world and they put a sense of pressure like no other. The stadium was constructed in 1937 and has the Capacity of 72,698
Celtic Park
Lastly, we have Celtic park which has the best atmosphere in any stadium when it comes a local derby in the United Kingdom. Located in Scotland, Celtic park is home to Celtic FC and its fans much like the Roma fans in Italy, create a sense of intimidation. The biggest atmosphere at an event you will find is at a Celtic and Rangers game. The two have a really that dates back to who knows when and is one of the biggest games of the year in Scottish football. The stadiums capacity is 60,000 and was first opened in 1892 making it one of the oldest stadiums in Europe.

Bayern Munich are one of the biggest teams in Europe. They always perform at a high level and keep a high standard in their organization. This also goes for their social media also. Media is the key factor in how to appeal to the fans interests and how to get them more interested in the club. Above you can see how they see a post that shows them paying respect to the fans and the reaction that it got from social media. Secondly you can see another post with a quote from a player after the game. Two posts from the same game but a higher reaction on one post compared to the other. This is an example of how certain posts can have more of an effect on people. Live reactions or thoughts get more reaction and interest then just your generic ”thank you” post. These are things to notice and utilize as a social media operator.

Networking is a huge aspect of college soccer. You won’t go very far if you don’t know the right people and it can become a struggle to achieve what you want to achieve. I’ve learned a lot from soccer coaches over the years and mainly from my last head coach in college. I learned a lot about myself and who I am when I am faced with a struggle or obstacle and it’s has helped me to grow as a person. This is why I followed my old head coach as he is a good example of what a professional head coach should be. He has thought me that it is all about family and that as a team we are a family that must stick together through thick and thin if we are to come out on top. I never knew till recently that I was not following him, so I found it about time that I did. One to see what a head coach posts on their social media and two for the interest in his career in the future. I want to be a head one day and what better way to learn but not from your old head coach that you felt did a great job and was professional and was a great example of what it is meant to be a head coach at a D1 level.

Soccer is not solely about passing a ball or scoring a goal at practice or in games. There is a lot of background work and workouts a player needs to do to maintain top physical form and fitness. As a coach, it is critical that you are versatile and well rounded in every aspect of your players development. This week I followed and monitored a fitness company that has a big part in developing players off the field. They help athletes build strength, flexablity and overall better body mecanics for when they compete. All these excercises are give an athlete a competitive edge over their opponents. It also maintains their health and fitness so that they can be free from injury and continue to play for longer and not cause an bodily damages. This is important for a coach to know so that he can maintain his players for the duration of the season and help develop them in areas that they may be struggling with.

This week and my social media journey. This week I learned more on the advertisement aspect of social media and how to get your brand out. I got some examples of do’s and don’ts on posts. This post above shows the importance of practice and how essential it is in college sports to achieve a scholarship and maintain that scholarship. I feel as those this advertisement shows the importance of their company and how athletes would benefit from their business. Its a simple yet effective way of portraying the importance and need for their company for future or current athletes in college. They are also advertising that they are a recruiting agency that helps with the burden of finding a college coach and team that will provide the scholarship they need it that will benefit them most.

This past week I got active on Twitter and went out to learn something new about being and influencer and how to grow my social media plaform. Thanks to Brittany, I have learned what it takes and what is requires to gather and following and to keep a following. Now I will not use it to the full extent as an influncer because I do not want to be and influencer, but the techniques work to increase your following to whatever level you decide you want to achieve. At then end of the day, this is an assignment for a course that I taking. Yes it’s for a grade however I see it also as a learning opportunity and room for me to grow on social media.

Soccer is a network of players, coach's and fans. It’s a community that means a great deal and can do so much good for many people within this community. The beauty of this game is that their are so many perspectives. This past week I have been following and observing the Instagram account of United Soccer Coach’s to see the game from a coach’s point of view. Players and coach’s see things on the field differently. As a current player who hopes to stay involved in the soccer community it’s important for me to pay attention to the difference in views and learn to view the game from a coach’s point of view. However even different countries see soccer differently and as an Irish player I need to understand the American coaching as this is the area of coaching I hope to enter after my playing career is over. This is why I found following this Instagram page to be helpful and insightful.

Professionalism. This is why’s I followed KC current the local professional ladies football team in Missouri. As a college athlete and current colligate soccer player, it is great to have a professional women’s team to look up to and watch. It is a incentive to push and to pursue your career and try improve yourself and  to make the next level of soccer. I began to follow the KC current Instagram page to get and incite to the caliber of player flowing into and out of the club and the the level of players that the club attracts. You can see the signings, the awards, the achievements  made by a team with a simple touch of a button on social media and it is the easiest way of getting information on an organization. As a collegiate soccer player I want to see the next level and I aim to push my self and make that next level. I followed them to see what I must do and the level I must achieve in myself to be able to perform at the next level.
