EL VERDE is an action-packed, comedy series that brings the comic book world of Latinx superheroes to the stage. Created by Boyle Heights native, Anthony Aguilar, and inspired by television’s long tradition of live action comic book shows, El Verde is a hybrid of the 1960’s Batman series and Mexican sketch comedy show Chespirito complete with 30-second commercials.
