There's something so deeply profound about Suzume's ideas about how people love the land, and how in return the land loves its people. That the separation of people from the places they love is a trauma so deep, not just in the people but in the land itself, these lonely places that are abandoned, that it ripples and builds and breaks the world again.
That you heal that wound by remembering how people loved that place, and then let it go. You remember the love and happiness. And then you return it to the gods. That you grieve the land like you grieve a person- you have to remember it, love it, before you can really heal from its loss.
Wednesday would be a lot better if there's no love interest or maybe a better one. My goth girl literally has an emotionless face everytime and uses people to her advantage to do her tasks but some guys think she'd die for them the moment she talked to them. LOL no.
I can't explain how my heart hurts even before Rhaenyra made Lucerys fly to Storm's End. Poor boy wasn't confident and looks really nervous but had to do his duty. Arrax was a little dragon too :<
I wish there was more Harwin x Rhaenyra moments. Like when and how their relationship started because they seem to love (?) each other. Ser Harwin cares for his boys and I want to see him bond with them more. It's really sad that two of the best Daddies in the first season is gone :(
"I'll take her as she is" is a huge win for the unhinged fuсked up girl community and that is why I'm so enamoured with it. Saying it so no one else has to.
This is really sad cus I think Viserys is a good father to Rhaenyra but because they have responsibilities and expectations they can't run away from, they're building resentment instead.
The most heartbreaking thing about House of the dragon and the Targaryen trio is the fact they love each other. If not for the damn throne they would have been a superbe family. The king loved his late wife, he loves his daughter so much and he loves his brother deeply. That's why it hurts when he heard what Daemon said about his son. Because despise everything he loves Daemon and defended him and never thought he could betray him. And he was right. Daemon don't want his brother dead. He was genuinely sad when his nephew died but because that little boy was between him and the throne he can't allow himself to be sad. He wants his brother attention. He wants to be recognized, he needs to make his brother see him as an equal, because that is his older brother and he admires him in a way. He loves his brother, you can see him smile when his brother defends him against all the advisers. I don't think he even wants the throne. He doesn't care. And it's the same with Rhaenyra she ressent her dad but you can see she's trying to reach him. And obviously she loves her uncle and he loves her too. They don't want conflicts. They just are all lost to the power on their shoulders. Power that wasn't even theirs to begin with. They were not supposed to be the ones on the throne. And it destroyed their family and it's sad. Because they will be each other downfall despise loving each other.
