JMI registration begins for admission to UG programmes of JEE Main, NATA, CUET 2022.
Today, Jamia Millia Islamia started the online registration portal for JMI Admission 2022 for undergraduate admissions via the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA 2022), Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main 2022), and CUET 2022.
"The online registration for undergraduate admissions to JEE/NATA and the programmes of the JMI whose test is being conducted by CUET shall stay available from August 27 to 29," the official notice stated. Prior to this, the JMI admissions 2022 for BTech and BArch registration period was prolonged to June 20, 2022, following the extension of the JEE Main 2022 and NATA 2022 schedules.
JMI will use the Common University Entrance Test to admit students to 10 of its undergraduate programmes (CUET 2022). CUET will provide JMI admission in 2022 for the following programmes: B.A. (Hons) in Turkish Language and Literature, B.A. (Hons) in Sanskrit, B.A. (Hons) in French and Francophone Studies, B.A. (Hons) in Spanish and Latin American Studies, B.A. (Hons) in History, B.A. (Hons) in Hindi, B.A. (Hons) in Economics, B.Sc. in Biotechnology, B.Voc In related news, JMI's Department of Sociology has recommended the cancellation of scholar and activist Safoora Zargar's admittance owing to "unsatisfactory" progress in her thesis work. ICAI announced a one-time relaxation for students registered till July 31.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has granted a relaxation for students who are provisionally enrolled in the ICAI CA Intermediate programme through the direct entry route through July 31, 2022, with the intention of taking the ICAI CA Intermediate test in May 2023. On the official website, icai.org, applicants can view the essential notice.
The most recent ICAI CA notice states that before filling out the examination form for the intermediate course in May 2023, "Students who have provisionally registered for Intermediate through Direct Entry route until 31st July 2022 are required to submit satisfactory proof of having passed the graduation examination with the minimum marks as provided in sub-regulation (4) of Regulation 28F."
After finishing ICITSS, these candidates must begin their practical training on or before October 1, 2022, and they must then sit for the ICAI CA Inter test in May 2023. The ICAI further stated that the decision was made to "overcome difficulties being faced by the students who have provisionally registered in the Intermediate Course through Direct Entry Route on account of non-declaration of the result of the final year of the graduation," adding that it is a one-time solution. The ICAI CA Foundation result for 2022 was announced on August 10. Only 23,629 of the 93,729 applicants that took the CA Foundation examinations in June 2022 passed them, or barely 25.28 percent.

NEET 2022 answer key, not today
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided not to provide the National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2022 answer key today, August 19. A senior NTA official responded when asked if the NEET UG 2022 answer key may be made available, saying that this has not yet been confirmed.
"This week, the release date for the NEET UG 2022 answer key can be disclosed. Will inform you, "an NTA representative told. However, according to information provided earlier by an NTA official, the NEET 2022 answer key can be anticipated by this week. The NTA NEET answer key will be published and made accessible for download on the NTA website, neet.nta.nic.in.
By submitting a Rs 200 objection fee for each contested answer, candidates may contest the NEET 2022 answer key and OMR sheets. Even if the NTA accepts the challenge, this price for the NEET 2022 OMR sheet and answer key is not refundable, the agency was informed. More than 16 lakh candidates took the NEET 2022 exam, and results are anticipated to be released in August last week.

Delhi's private schools didn't give admission to EWS children despite directions.
The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) said on Friday that, in spite of its directives, some children who fall under the category of the economically weaker segment (EWS) were not admitted to private schools in Delhi. The NCPCR requested information about EWS admissions in private schools starting with the 2020–21 school year in a letter to the Delhi chief secretary. The officers and branches responsible for securing the admission of the applicants under the EWS-DG and CWSN categories have received tight instructions, but it has been seen that they have not yet granted admission to these candidates.
"Subsequently, you are requested to provide details of the following for academic years 2020-21, 2021-22 and 2022-23: Year-wise vacancy for EWS-DG category candidates, seats allotted against the vacancy, and a total number of children admitted against the seats allotted in private schools of Delhi," it said.
The commission also inquired as to the number of open seats in the relevant year following the admission of children in excess of the allowed number. The NCPCR wrote to the Delhi chief secretary, "The necessary answer with given details may kindly be provided in the Commission within seven days of receipt of this letter."
