With Saya's health declining, Yuzuriha decides it's time to settle down to free up her finances so she can help with her sister’s medical needs. Meanwhile, Sagiri is sick of her father's views of her sexuality, and insists on finding a woman to marry. The two start to click on their Omiai encounter and soon agree to be wed. They then have to figure out how to navigate all their new problems- the ones that come with any arranged marriage.

“Is it really okay for someone like him to be happy?” She pours her hesitancy and insecurities into her words. Yuzuriha looks down at her lap instead of the eyes of the woman she loves. Sagiri frowns, more careful with her words as she takes in the question, “Love doesn’t absolve your sins and it’s not conditional on that absolution. Anyone can love and be loved in return, and what else could happiness be other than our ties to each other?”
