good news: I've been half-drafted into, half-volunteered for a scanning project at work, so I'll have at least 5 hours of dedicated podcast-listening time per week! perfect for finally finishing Spring in Hieron!

okay so I think it's obvious by now that I have not fulfilled my original goal of finishing Spring in Hieron before Perpetua started but but BUT! I have gotten through SiH 27 AND

I was grasping so hard for the name of the Marielda NPC Lem was dreaming as (because Austin mentioning tea witches pinged something in my brain) and then the name was said at the very end of SiH 27 and my reactions were simultaneously

My recipient (Biorenewologist/iamnotathing, platform unknown) asked for a Ace Attorney style case for Eclectic, and I did my best to deliver! This is a REAL visual novel game that YOU CAN PLAY!

You do NOT need to have listened to Palisade to solve the mystery, all clues are given to you in the game. However, there will be mild spoilers, like characters/appearances that appear later in the season. It is not canon compliant, Blue Channel crew that never met will be hanging out!

If you have never listened to Friends at the table or Palisade, the character interactions (and there's lots of those) might not be as entertaining for you.

now that PALISADE is done, i'm hopping back to Spring in Hieron because 1, it has been a damn long time since i started listening in semi-earnestness and even longer since my first attempt before abruptly switching to Twilight Mirage and 2, i really REALLY want to finish the whole thing by the time the Chaotic Cataloguing zine is released, AND! i actually have faith that i will because these episodes are so short!

Orthibex is tricky as old man yaoi to me because like when they meet they're what. 20s and 30s in kingdom game. And main game is a decade later. But then as the game goes on they start to get reeeeal flexible with ibex's personal timeline and by the finale it's like is he sixty?? Is he 35??? Literally who could say. Not Austin and not me
