albus s. potter ╱ he, him ╱ slytherin alumn ╱ contract thief cursebreaker

TL;DR ╱ as the poster boy for middle child syndrome, a late bloomer when it came to magical ability, and a kid growing up with famous war-hero parents — it’s safe to say that albus had a rough go of things, growing up. the media picking apart his and his other family members’ every move didn’t help much, either. eventually, he learned to cope. by stealing things. small things at first — a book from the library, a handful of acid pops from honeydukes. the more he got away with, the bigger his prizes became. he became smarter, quicker, more tactical. he was good at it. and when he left hogwarts to train to become a cursebreaker, he eventually opened his own independent business rather than working for gringotts — and one of magical london’s best kept secrets is that beyond the run-of-the-mill cursebreaking services, accio offers, to those who know the password, the ability to get you absolutely anything you ask for.  for a certain price.

fingers running through perpetually untamable bedhead, ring-covered fingers, sleepless nights, questionable intentions, gloomy grey skies, several dozen ‘last cigarettes’ smoked in secret back alleys and on rooftops, inside jokes, r-rated eye contact, an easily bruised ego, hard-to-earn grins, dares taken too far, rooftop meetings, the click of a lock, the hair on the back of necks and arms standing up, sleight of hand, the song you can’t get out of your head, firewhisky kisses, calling in that old favor at the last minute.

the accio team ╱

this is a group of 5-7 people who trust each other with their lives. they were all good friends before working together, and agreed to take an unbreakable vow upon joining the team, swearing both secrecy and loyalty to each other. not all of them will have trained as cursebreakers, and each has their own particular skillset that helps the overall group in their smuggling, spying, and planned heists. some may think of themselves as robin hood’s band of merry men, while others may feel less inclined to sugarcoat their covert crimes. current members: albus potter — founder, mastermind, tactical specialist open — lead strategist open — technomagical specialist  open — potions specialist  reserved for nova — pyrotechnical specialist  open — UTP open — UTP

a note about canons and canon ages!

we came to the realization that some of the lore was conflicting and in order to combat this, we have moved our site timeline to 2031, and the ages for named canon children are now as follows: edward lupin, 33 scorpius malfoy, 25 james potter, 27 albus potter, 25 lily potter, 23 lorcan scamander, 23 lysander scamander, 23 victoire weasley, 30 dominique weasley, 27 louis weasley, 25 molly weasley, 25 (with room for adjustment) lucy weasley, 24 (with room for adjustment) fred weasley ii, 28 (with room for adjustment) roxanne weasley, 26 (with room for adjustment) rose granger-weasley, 25 hugo granger-weasley, 23 you may have seen some of these updated already on our canon list doc as we have been editing prior to opening tomorrow, but if this inconveniences any plans made for reserves please reach out to a member of staff so that we can work with you and try to rectify this. we're so sorry about that! on a happier note, we cannot wait for tomorrow - general reserves are already open and our doors will open sometime on the 28th!!
