yo. can i request prayers for several different things

The crippling permeating loneliness that walks hand in hand with this part of my cycle is back again. Sigh. Please pray that I can just power through it

A new job opportunity came up for me to be a housekeeper at the convent. It's more efficient for my family and is a better fit for my temperament and personality, plus I know the Sisters well and would love to spend more time with them. I need to send in my application, but I would really like this job and also, if I get it, the prudence to quit McDonalds tactfully and that it would all go smoothly.

Finally, I've recently been informed of an opportunity to attend college on a full ride through an essay competition, but to be frank, even though the college sounds wonderful and right up my alley, I have no desire to attend, having already made plans to apply for and being halfway through the admissions process to my dream college. The problem is, this college doesn't have nearly as much financial aid, and unfortunately I don't know what's transferrable. I'm not going to make much money anyway post-graduate (being a teacher and all), and tuition has always kind of been the spectre hanging over my life since I was very young. I'd like to request prayers for clarity and prudence, because it feels like I'm stuck between the rock of a college I really have no interest in attending and the hard place of trying to pay for the college I do.

But my friend is having a really hard time right now and I'm at the point where I'm putting his name on the prayer roll so I might as well do this too

About a month ago his muscles basically lost all strength to the point where he can't really walk and his strength is shot. (Legitimately didn't have the strength to open a water bottle) The doctors don't know what's wrong yet. I'm really scared for him

So yeah. Please pray for him.

prayer for one of my best friends; her husband has been hitting her and abusing her sexually on the daily and I really don't know what to do because I think eventually he'll kill her. she doesn't think it's abuse, and the police can only do so much.

Urgent prayer request for Texas given the current flooding. 23 young girls who were attending a summer camp in the hill country are still missing and 13 people have lost their lives. My heart aches for the families waiting to hear updates 💔

I'm bad about posting requests publicly but this one is getting a little overwhelming.

My husband has been looking for a solid job for about a month and while God has mercifully provided for us via my job, we are also quite near to depleting our savings. He applies for like 20 jobs a day but Indeed is chock full of MLM, comission based scammy jobs. I'm also getting more and more worn out from being the sole income provider and I know that weighs on him even more than the actual job search.

Could you please pray that God bring him to a good job soon? If you have practical advise like good job boards or know of anyone hiring (either in Texas or just remote) that would also help! but prayers help most of all :)

Make sure you don't accidentally punish people for communicating their needs and boundaries. When someone cares enough to have the uncomfortable conversation, that's a compliment and a clear sign that they are invested in the relationship. Yes of course it's uncomfortable to hear that something you've been doing has been upsetting someone you care about when that was never your intention, but people generally only bother to have these conversations with the people they want to keep around - the people they trust to care. If they just didn't like you, they'd probably just try to avoid you. So make sure you don't make it into a more punishing experience than it has to be. Try to see the care and the trust behind the criticism, even when it triggers uncomfortable emotions. It's a good sign that they're there telling you.

hey can you guys pray for my mom? she's been working on recovering from an untreated ED for the past year and she's been in a weird place with it lately. we're going to see her family that also has a messed up understanding of food this weekend for a celebration. i'm nervous about how it's going to go, so i'm sure she's a little worried as well. anyways, if you could say a prayer, i'd be incredibly grateful.
