When I was early on in my transition I got in a Lyft, and the driver was this big country guy. I was a little nervous so I just sat quietly in the back.

After a moment he changed the music on his phone to what sounded like a Hatsune Miku song. Curiosity got the better of me, so I finally spoke up and said “is this Hatsune Miku?”

And he said “Yep. You looked uncomfortable, and I know Transgender women like Hatsune Miku, so I thought it might help.”

I think about that interaction a lot.

One of my favorite parts when making this was picking and drawing the expressions, there's two sets of them, the normal mode and the unhinged mode.

By default the avatar uses the normal expressions, but you can toggle the unhinged ones from the Radial Menu.

The avatar has mouth tracking and blinking as well:

The avatar also has Siffrin's iconic dagger, the hat is removable and you can turn into a... familiar face.

People have clocked that Nostalgie might be Loop's Sadnesses- star shaped head, can use all 3 craft types, sweet smelling, *and* being an easy way for Siffrin to get the Tear Crests instead of having to remember where they are like in sasasap; thus also fulfilling the "helping Siffrin" thing.

Anyways. I bring this up because the very first time the party encounters them, Isabeau says this

I guess he really is THAT smart and intuitive, huh. Poor buddy indeed.

I think my favorite thing to do to Siffrin is just make him go through the most normal, average terrible things, on repeat. Have I said that before?
