Help My Family Battle the Cost of Living and Wind Damage

Boozhoo, Aaniin (Hello, Hi, in Anishinaabemowin), 

My name is Kachina and my family and I currently live in Southern Ontario, where the cost of living has skyrocketed. My family and I are Indigenous, and we are seriously struggling to eat, as Covid dramatically impacted our finances and now the cost of food is making it difficult to keep up on bills. I know so many people are in the same situation, and my family is not special, but we still could use some help. 

Any financial help will go directly toward food, our mortgage, and repairing serious wind damage that removed the siding from our house this past December. We currently do not have enough money to meet the deductible from our insurance company, and would greatly appreciate any help making up that income. Our current goal is raising 1000 dollars, and doing so would greatly help us. 

If you are unable to donate, I would greatly appreciate spreading this post around so others may see it.

Ooooo how far are you into writing your book? I would love to read it when it's finished in the future! I'm always looking for variety in writing and I adore your writing! And cool I bet Juju will love it! (I know I will)

I am working on chapter six! I’m not very far but I am taking the writing slow. No need to rush myself. Thanks for the compliments on my writing! What I am doing has a someone unique tone. 

And as for the Chanyeol oneshot I’m doubting it thus far. >_>

I don't mind the rant and completely understand, it's especially frustrating cause you put a lot of effort in to it only to not get much response, and with so many people following it's way more disappointing. Ooooo I am excited to see the new thing you're working on though!

The most frustrating thing about it is that I tried very hard to do things that would produce more views. Maybe reactions were falling out of favour, so I began to make texts. At first, they go so much response and then like everything else people just stopped caring. IDK if it was like “I’m following so I saw it and read it and cool,” kinda of thing or what. And honestly it’s not about likes or reblogs, even writing a response that was like “omg I love this” would have been nice. 

I’ve continually faced this problem everywhere I have posted content. When I was writing my Naruto fan fic back in high school it got soooo many views but for the life of me I struggled to get feedback. It’s just...frustrating? You put so much work into something and people are obviously consuming it they just don’t care to leave encouragement. 

Okay rant over for real. 

In other news, I am writing a book! It’s not going to be for everyone because it’s LGBT+ fiction but I really hope some of you guys read it. >_<

Oh and I’m working on a Chanyeol oneshot that was requested. ^_^
