May have gone with the 1 pc w/ejector relief cut into it. For that matter any sight with one inch hole spacing will work. Couldnt be any happier with the alignment of the rails and the barrel. my Marlin 1895 guide gun and I have to double check but the screw holes are one inch apart which are the same for the Savage 24 without the scope base attached. I mounted the scope behind the ejector allowing for almost perfect eye relief for target shooting. Front base may require modification for correct fit. I bought 2 for the front and back thinking my scope would span the gap.
