i've never liked male idols/boy groups as much as female idols. while i can recognize conventional attractiveness and skill in male idols, that's all i ever did: recognize it. i always figured that was because female idols could represent me in some abstract way while male idols couldn't. turns out that was more true than i knew. see this guy?

normal-looking male idol, right? standard attractive for an idol, is what i'm saying. like yeah, he's attractive, but that's his job. i was more taken by his jacket than his face. like, i want that jacket. the guy, i feel neutral about. now look at this guy:

i think what i really like is androgynous looks. so, more feminine looks from men (see above) and more masculine looks from women (see: weki meki's Lua/Kim Sookyung). The funny thing is, at least three members of 17 are more attractive than jeonghan (mingyu, vernon, and jun, sorry i don't make the rules) (i literally don't make the rules, you guys do). but none of them have got me gagged like jh.

the other funny thing is that he's not even my favorite member of 17 lol. fave member is hoshi aka kwon soonyoung, dance machine, shockingly good vocalist, shapeshifting performer, proud furry, terrible detective, and best menace. but it wouldn't be 17 without all 13 members (i still can't believe we let them get away with that). and i respect jh's commitment to cheating and lying. man has a shtick and a brain and he sticks to it o7
