Gold and blue figured silk gown with floral patterned panels, full round skirt, and full-length ruched sleeves. Worn by a member of the Mackintosh family. The material was said to have been brought from China by by a family member who was a sea captain. There is a morning wrapper made of the same fabrics also in the collection from the Mackintosh family.

Child's Dress
Child's red printed dress with scalloped collar and black piping details. Worn by a girl aged eight to ten years old. Skirt has two growth growth pleats and is pleated at waistband. Recycled fabrics used for lining. Closes in back with multiple hook and eye closures. Sleeves possibly could have been remade for the style of the 1890s. Made circa 1860s.
