Final Thoughts
As this project comes to an end . i can say that its been a testing time , with this whole pandemic taking over the world. Despite all this the show must go on and with that i throughly enjoyed working on this exploring creative technology brief. it started off on a rocky start with the bar bingo idea hitting a dead end, but the feedback and the 1-2-1′s were very helpful as it managed to to steer me in a different direction of the app development.

Taking it to the web
Discussed during the meeting , my app could be used as an online video-call based , so what i'm going to do is look into the different ways that i can implement it into the app

Things to consider
There's me thinking that i had everything sorted , i was wrong , the feedback that i got was too good and i feel that i can develop and create a better product because of it.
So what i need to do is to look at the feedback and implement them into my final design. So as we are in lockdown due to the coronavirus , it was mentiond by Bonnie that i could evolve my current app from just being a bar app to something that can reach a larger audience . This was a major point because people can’t leave their house to visit friends or family we have to communicate with them through facetime, with that in mind houseparty was all the rage for the first copule of weeks as it allowed you to FT friends and play games as a group. As of used the app myself, i will still need to have a look into it further seeing what things i can take form house party and implement them into my app.

Talk with the trancenders
This morning the class had a group meeting on microsoft team with mike dissuccing pour work on the creative technolgies brief. This was a chnace for everyoone to gain feedback to help better there ideas. It was a very benefital time as i i thiugh i had my idea but feedback from Mike, Bonnie, Lucas and Izzy really gave some sserious insights with how to make my app follow the criteria better. What was mentioned was with the ongoing corona virus i should mold my app around if i want to

This is my revamped version of my app , its much cleaner and more professional looking than the prototype. The improvement of this was watching a couple of clips which is purely focus on app UI and this was something that i needed a a solid look into and and im proud with what i've created.

Shazam
Shazam is a music finding app founded in 2002 and is one of the leading apps when it comes to discovering new music. Its one of the apps that i cannot live without as whenever im out and about and there a song that peaks my interest i am able to pull my phone out , open the app and start searching.
The app itself is very minimal and simplistic, when you open you greeted with the logo and which pulsates while it waits to identify the song. The only input that you need to do is push the button in the middle of the screen and itll to the rest. Once its found set song it'll give you a variety of options to pick from such as knowing the lyrics, watching the video , knowing the artist and wanting to know if you want to hear it on spotify or apple music.
Also there is a ‘Library’ section in which where you press it , itll show you you previuous sings that you have saved over time.

Had another meeting with mike , and i showed him a couple of designs which went down really with constructive feedback. With the image above is one of the logs the we went through together . This was one of my favourite deigns and we made some changes such as removing the titled letters and resized parts of the name making the ‘asta’ slightly bigger adding some spice to the logo.

This is my second logo design and it something that is different from the first one. For this design i went for a camp chic look to it, i like the fun asthetctics that it has but i was to compare it to the first set of designs i feel that it looks quite messy and not as clean. I really went to town with the editing of the letters and feel that i done to much giving the logo a clustered look

here is my first logo design for my app , and i'm really happy with the way it turned out . I wanted a fun but yet mature approach to the design. The font i used was Dealer plate California-Regular, which i thought was perfect for my logo design. My favourite design has to be the last 3 designs at the bottom as i feel that it portrays a lot of character and emotion .

In illustrator , to get things going i wanted to try a host of different fonts that i wanted to incorporate for my logo designs. The theme that i was going for is a a very upbeat, fun and quirky fonts as i feel that it goes with the overall ethos of what i want the app to portray.

Creating /developing logo designs For my app i produced a couple of sketches for my upcoming app, these are just building blocks for developing my final logo. I also sketched up a couple of app icons so when the app does go live there will be an icon to represent the app. I will then apply these sketches unto Adobe illustrator to clean them up and add colour .

As a avid user of spotify app on my phone, it's such a delight to use , it has a solid structure , everything is colour coded for different elements, the icons are simple and represent each genre perfectly , and this is something that i want implement into my design.
