In honor and discovery of Jorge Rivera-Herrans’ Epic the musical concept recently I wanted to have a small fun idea with an event for twst. As maybe I’ll do more writing getting into more details but for now please enjoy my casting list (ocs included)

So now I present to you NRC’s film research club’s production of EPIC: The Musical

Ace Trappola: Eurylochus/Winion2 (gosh the winions together are going to be absolute gremlins though Ace only appears as one in open arms and dangerous)

Deuce Spade: Telemachus (I’m sure this is self explanatory but he was made for this role)

Leona Kingscholar: Melanthius (I did almost give him Odysseus but I also felt like he wouldn’t want such a huge role, especially if Vil was going to be directing the production with professor Trein)

In this interest check we would like to see if there would be enough people willing to contribute and / or support this zine as we ultimately won't be able to bring this zine to it's full potential in celebrating all aspects of Wizardess Heart without strong collaborative efforts.

So while just kinda thinking to myself while laying around; as we’re on book 7 and though it has not officially come to an end I was kind of just thinking of what would come next. Because will the group actually get to wake up at the end of that dream and be able to save Malleus or will there be a string of other dreams of others happiest times in particular characters lives before they can truly wake up?

Obviously the mirror is the main component of Yuu being able to return but I can only wonder what other factors would need to be in play because like many other worldly travel of games and movies there’s like a super rare item or for a particular phenomenon that only happens X times a year to occur in order to bring the Mc back home… as if that’s that case, the window of yuu actually being able to leave (if wanted to) would close during this time while asleep hence even if malleus was capable of helping, they couldn’t completely guarantee Yuu’s return home.

I’m hoping the game gives us the choice to stay or go but that note aside; there are so many things that can still be explored especially as the freshmen crew become sophomores and new freshmen coming into the school. As there’s a small side of me that would like to see what it’s like at Royal Sword as even if it was an event:

I’d imagine it’d all start with a wager between the headmage’s of the schools, cuz let’s be real Crowley would be stupid enough to bet that if he lost whatever bet he’d let yuu be an exchange student at RSA (because they were both boasting about one of their favorite students) without even informing yuu about it until Crowley lost said wager. We’d get to learn more about the other key characters that we’ve met and maybe even get to see the deeper sides to them and even that they do in fact struggle with things despite their princely/knightly appearances.

Hair Holds Memories (Oc Edition)

I thought this would be a insightful way of introducing my twst original characters. I'll do an edition for the boys another time, but I really wanted to do something meaningful way to discuss my ocs. Lizette Luna: Grows Hair

When she arrived in Twisted Wonderland her hair was already medium length hair, so she grew it out

Given how she arrived while she was heading out for a mission in her homeland of magic, gradually she developed quite a lot of guilt for unintentional abandonment and the worry she will bring to everyone she knew

Also she left a lot of friends that became very important to her behind, so needless to say she didn’t want to let go of those feelings or memories she had made with them

Having longer hair meant she could fit more flowers in her hair which were often smaller flowers. Her choice of flowers are always intentional; one day she might wear pink camellias, or a flower that had made her think of one of her friends back home

Overall it’s kind of a means of not allowing herself to forget about everything she had to leave behind as she lived out making new memories in her new but maybe temporary life

Jodie Icelynn: Cuts Hair

Selkies have such long beautiful hair, it’d probably be uncommon for many selkies to have short hair or just a little more common now in more modern times

As much as she’s comfortable with her long curly hair, she cuts it short for convenience. Also the amount of product she can cut down on when caring for her hair, it is always annoying when she runs out so quickly of a product. Not that money’s an issue to buy more it just a pain to run out so quickly and then have to restock… again

The only thing of memories she’s wanting to let go of is her younger years when she’d be put into beauty pageants and just all the stress and trauma that came with being a competitor. She also hated the whole contest to prove who’s the prettiest or near perfect young lady, it was such a horrifying thing to subject little girls to, she hated how she used to feel during them. She was cutting it to make room for the development of the woman she wanted to become in the future

Being a sports model was much more of her comfort level and she enjoyed cuz it wasn’t competing for who's better it was just showing off sportswear or sports equipment. When she started attending NRC she had developed quite the love for sports, she especially loves participating in ice swimming events so imagine how much faster she could swim without so much of her hair weighing her down cuz there was no way all that hair was fitting neatly inside a swim cap

Korálli Bombora: Cuts Hair

This may seem like a boring response, but there is no reason for them to really let go of memories. The main reason Rálli would cut their hair is because it grows super fast as for someone who does the minimum to care for their hair it’s super healthy and silky, maybe just good genes

They very much like wearing accessories in their split colored jellyfish styled hair especially if it’s made of resin so it’d be a total bummer if they couldn’t decorate their hair

Being a water fae from the ocean means that their hair was also a means of fish from medium to small sizes to hide like they would with coral and small caverns for safety or a means of protection. So really maintaining their hair is also a means of not feeling so homesick too much when Rálli decides to go for a small swim in the tank at the lounge when missing the water

Deidamia Berenice: Grows Hair

She loves her hair, is it annoying at times when she isn’t able to completely control her naturally floaty hair if trying a specific hair style; yeah it can be, but she wouldn’t trade it for the world. After all she’s one day to ascend to her full potential as a goddess so she had to be at her beautifulest 

She thinks short hair is so boring, sure she thinks it could be cute on others, but that just isn’t for her. 

She feels her hair is one of her best features; how many ladies or people in general can say their hair can float and look flawless all the time? And she’ll tell you no one else can compare to her

If she was to trim her hair it’s only the ends, nothing too drastic. And if she had to have someone do her hair literally no one but someone that was one of her family’s loyalist could touch and fix up her hair

Kaiser Sinclair: Cuts Hair

Kaiser has had quite the mixed life. She’s lived well in a good family that loved her, but also growing up in Styx as an experiment to become the walking blot regulator and phantom fighter that she is today the things she had to endure kind of outweighed the good in her life often

For someone like Kaiser who’s highly athletic and quite the hostile, confrontational individual it’s kind of a surprise that her purple black hair is SO LONG though she’d pull it back. So deciding to cut her hair is quite the change

It’s not that she doesn’t like her long hair, she quite treasured her hair as it was one of the few things she had control over during her childhood, but cutting it to be shorter to her like mid-back or shoulder blades more so for convenience that it doesn’t get in her way, especially during track but also still maintaining some length

In the sense of memories she’s letting go of her past self and how she used to feel the old pains of what she’s been through as this was the new her. She’ll work with Styx, but she’s doing things her way, not how the scientists want to do things

Florence Rothchester: Cuts Hair

Florence isn’t the one to cut their hair because someone else actually chops it off for Florence (it would have happened most likely during an event or some part in the main plot during the diasomnia chapter). The most likely candidates of who did it would be: Ace, Epel, and Sebek

Florence was pretty much a living doll molded into her family’s expectations, standards, and ideals. One of the freshmen chopping the Diasomnia’s hair off was the way of “freeing” Florence from their past for a fresh start in order for them to discover themselves

Actually likes having much shorter hair as it takes less time to do since Florence was still expected to keep up their feminine appearance which maids often did back home. Was Florence’s parents mad when they found out how much of their daughter’s hair was gone (even if it wasn’t that big of a chop it’d still be a drastic change for Florence’s parents), yes; but mother would simply add hair masks to Florence’s daily routine to ensure it grows back all healthy as the solution

The feeling was like a bunch of chains falling off their body so it differently took Florence a bit of time to get used to their new hair which is maintained to keep it to a length that makes Florence happy or at least to a length that would be a compromise with their mother so it wasn’t always a fight of mommy’s “little princess’s” hair is all gone when Florence would have to return home

Show of hands, how many of us know about Applin? Y'know, this little creature.

Little apple dragon, we first met them in Galar!

And they have a STORY there in Galar! One that our lovely Meta Queen CelestialHolz has analyzed to the distortion world and back, because of Hassel and Brassius.

Basically, the story is Give an Applin to the one you love, you'll be together forever.

Now, I COULD talk about how that relates to the fact that Hassel has a Flapple, meaning he HAD TO HAVE GOTTEN AN APPLIN SOMEHOW
