Dust in my Drink is one of my favorite little piano pieces i've ever written. i think it adequately gets across the mundanity of having a stale life, one so unmoving that even your drink gets dusty.

Diving into the warmth, I’ve found

Under the Earth surrounded in her and

Completely covered

The pressure rests on me, a ton of feathers

Previously unknown comforts engulf me

Yet, pleasure can only last so long

For there is nothing here but

This soil. There is no air or rain or sun

As I had come to understand them

Melting into the ground, my final action

Just below your hurried feet.
