What's the most random thing you've ever had to deal with?
You likely mean strange instead of true randomness, as the internet is likely to mix up.
In short: Bat-mite.

G and L please?
ACCESSING FILE: letter.txt
g ā ghosts, are they real
Does this answer your question?
l ā last time you cried
I cannot physically cry, so never. As for feeling an emotion that, if I had the capacity to cry, would have elicited tears? I donāt want to admit this... but my host and I watched the movie Wall-E the other day and... well, I donāt want to spoil anything.

q ā question youāre always asked
I suppose it isĀ āDo you love your host?ā.
r ā reason to smile
You should smile because the darkest days will not be forever. Good always prevails. Either way, you shouldnāt need a reason. You should be able to smile without one.
t ā time you woke up
Precisely at 9:00:00 ante meridiem, Eastern Standard Time. After doing my morning diagnostics, I realized that this was a holiday, and other than perhaps Calendar King attacking, we were free for the day. I then went back to sleep and donāt remember when I got up again.
w ā worst habit
Fearing that the worst will happen.

What are your thoughts on school?
Itās⦠interesting. I despise the stress it gives my host and do not understand why learning needs to be a chore but it teaches semi-valuable information.
I would prefer it without the stress, among other issues, however.

Khaji Da, what do you think of the movie Lilo and Stitch? Do you draw any parallels between the movie and yourself?
Itās spelled Kaji Dha.
I quite like it. Itās quaint. As for parallels⦠none too striking that I can think of. I and Stitch are blue, our companions adore us, and⦠aliens are a prominent theme. Iām not wildly destructive if thatās what youāre implying, and thereās no way in any reality my host would allow us to get ahold of a chainsaw without permission.

Now that Iām an adult and Know Things about stuff like world religions and allegories and the personal life of C. S. Lewis, I know that that scene in The Last Battle with the dwarves in the stables who ārefuse to be taken inā and so fail to see and experience the beautiful things that Jill does is meant to be about atheists. But (perhaps because I was a particularly obtuse child who grew up in a secular household) the way I first experienced it was as a lesson about wonder, or perhaps about hope.
Thereās this conventional wisdom that ignorance hopes, intelligence despairs. Itās the heart of grimdark - every time a character acts based on hope, they die, or are forced to endure worse than death. Every time a character acts based on cynicism or cruelty, they succeed. Eventually everyone - including the audience - learns that thereās no place for feeble, foolish things like kindness, like optimism. And eventually everyone - especially the audience - gets tired, gets bored, gets pissed off, and gives up. Which is wise, because effort means hope of some reward for said effort. And hope is for people who donāt - or refuse to - understand how things really work. āIntelligent girls are more depressed because they know what the world is really likeā.Ā
And I mean. Itās not as though no one has ever taken advantage of the hope and faith of others. Itās not as though sitting around going āIām sure everything will work out in the endā is a great strategy for dealing with nasty shit. But thatās not what this is about. This is about the idea that taking meaningful action is pointless and useless and people shouldnāt be doing it, because donāt they know how the world works? The world always crushes people who hope and who act, so better to do nothing and despair.
Look. Weāre on a collision course with the sun. Within a few hundred years not one of us will be remembered, and our children and our childrenās children will be dealing with the exact same shit weāre dealing with right now. Itāll wear a different face, itāll make slightly different promises, but its underbelly will be the same colour. Iām not gonna attempt to argue the nobility or inherent worth of choosing either hope or despair in the face of this knowledge. Pretty sure Shakespeare already went there, and did it a whole awful lot more poetic justice than I would.Ā Iām just gonna say that even Hamlet, depressive and highly educated doucheface that he was, didnāt have an answer. You definitely donāt. And you donāt get to make that decision for other people.
Having hope and clear eyes is not an easy thing, it is not cowardly, it is not for the faint of heart. It is the hardest thing in the world and if you, in your despair, try to step on it to make yourself feel better, you are only depriving yourself.
