memories had been replaying when he stepped at this place, and it felt like yesterday when he’d been there with koyo & confessed his true feelings he had been bearing for the other. he couldn’t exactly remember how many years it had been since then, but it didn’t really matter for now.

he know that koyo was on his way, so he’d just watch the waves smashing against the rock. he was wearing his mafia suit, and usually he wouldn’t wear it unless he was with his family. but he couldn’t get something similar for this moment, so he hoped that koyo didn’t mind his attire at all. one quick glance on the phone, before he’d hear the other’s voice and ryohei turned around with a soft smile on his face.

‘ there you are, koyo— ’, he approached the other with his words. ‘ i’m glad you came here !! ’ there was his typical ryohei smile that was followed by a gentle chuckle.

‘ i hope i wasn’t bothering you by something. if so then i’m sorry !! ’ — was he really sorry? that was the question.

a pause for a minute; before he’d continue talking:

‘ okay, i’ve got my reasons why i gathered you here. first i want you to remember what this place means to us; you remember. our first kiss, our confession. this place has a significant meaning to me; and i hope it has for you, too. ’

he was fiddling in his pocket, like there was something in there & he was waiting for the perfect moment to get it out. ‘ and... you know— i’ve been thinking. a lot. i don’t know how the future is leading to us and... ’ he bit his bottom lip, his cheeks heatened up a little and he looked away, trying to get rid of his embarassed state.

‘ y’ know, koyo— i love you. i really do. i love you to the sun and back. hell, it’s extremely crazy, isn’t it !? ’ then kneelded down, and he revealed the object that was in his pocket: a small box with a ring. when he opened the box, his cheeks were heating up even more & he looked up at the other.

‘ will you... uh... will you marry me? ’

fights ryohei's lips with his own :/

‘ —— !! ’

sudden pressure was set against his lips before he’d realize it was koyo’s lips pressing against his own. what a sudden feeling; but he enjoyed it. he really did. kissing the other had become a habit ( and it never really had anything to do with their idiotic fighting sessions they often had ), same went for the spooning or cuddling whenever occasion was correct to do so. 

with a grin in his lips, he gently wrapped his arms around the other, pulling him closer to just deepen the kiss a little more. he didn’t want this feeling go away just as it came to him. just a little more of this...

“ kiss me. ” a pause and a re-evaluation, he adds. “ --- with your fist. ”

‘ i— ’ that was pretty much unexpected, but after fellow partner added something to his sentence, his lips would be curling into a playful grin. this guy could be the death of him, and yet he wouldn’t mind it as much. whether how the kiss would be going, he wouldn’t care it as much either. lips or fists, why did it matter? yet koyo choose the fist, so the blonde would crack his knuckles.

 ‘ will you take me out on a date after this... — to the boxing ring? ’

“ that’s bad ”

‘ oh really— ? ’ with a grunt he looks up at the elder, furrowing his brows in distress. ‘ you literally hurt my friends and all you can say about this is ‘that’s bad?’ !? ’ clenching his fist, he approached the other and every wrath he’d been carrying was about to get released as soon as possible.

‘ koyo? whatcha doin’? ’

there was a sudden weight above him, not sure what koyo was going to try. he didn’t mind it as much though, in fact it was very surprising and it seemed a little challenging as well. he didn’t move for a second and just looked at him with a blink. with a snort he patted the other’s back and pulled him a little closer.

‘ oh, you tryin’ to wrestle with me or are you into a cuddling session now, eh? either way is fine, man !! ’
