    Favaro stabbed the thorn of Bahamut into Bahamut to save Amira from the fate of being trapped within the dragon for eternity.  Imagine him realizing the moment Nina gives him Amira’s message, that he failed to save her from that ???  That despite his efforts, he wasn’t able to SAVE the woman he loved from something she would consider - worse than death.

    Favaro Leone from Shingeki no Bahamut is a beautiful character, who I love with all my heart.  The one thing I can give the Virgin Soul writers kudos for, is keeping his season 1 character development alive.  He was still selfish and a liar, but the man had a heart of gold - even if I disagree with his SOMEWHAT backing of Nina and Charioce.

    In the end I don’t think he cared who she fell in love with, I think he just wanted her to be happy in the end.  ( Basically, she could’ve fallen in love with anyone, and he would’ve backed her up. )  -- While I don’t agree with Favaro’s sentiments about Nina picking Charioce over THE WORLD, I can only guess that he didn’t want her to live with the same guilt he has been carrying around for the last 10 years or something.

    He was the one who chose the world, over the girl.  It’s sad to think his attempt to save Amira from eternal damnation within Bahamut even though he tried to, it’s heartbreaking really.  He probably hates himself for the fact he had been played so well in bringing Amira to Helheim, to the moment when she screams in pain because her MOTHER faded away.  ( The mother that had been living in pure hell under Beelzebub’s care. )

   I don’t think Favaro wanted to get involved with anything that changes the fate of the world anymore, I think the bounty hunter is tired.  That’s why he travels around, never really stopping, always pulling himself forward, Favaro doesn’t hold grudges ( Episode 9, “ Quickly forgetting about the bounty you’ve caught is the secret to being a good bounty hunter.  If we forget about it, then they won’t harbor any resentments either.” )

I just assumed he was trying to figure out what made Favaro special enough to beat Bahamut 10 years ago.

    Maybe, I mean that’s most likely but -- not a lot of people knew who actually beat Bahamut.  Favaro was quiet about it entirely, ( due to guilt ect. )  So Charioce knowing he was the one who defeated the dragon is a hard stretch for me, although I accept Jeanne, Kaisar or someone like that might’ve told him.  I just, find it hard to think that was his only reason.  Like, why jail him for defeated the dragon ?  Shouldn’t you thank him or something, I don’t know.

Look all the times Charioce mentioned to kill Mugaro, he was entirely responsible and in spite of that, he was the only one getting a happy ending with Nina.

    “ The wind always blows to tomorrow.”  It’s a little OBVIOUS that the saying was something akin to looking to the future, was the demon playing with his head ?  That seemed likely, they were a demon after all, ( and one of the more powerful demons. )  “ Don’t you have a younger brother to babysit ?”
