Just your average wizard hermit with zero musical training, a cheap microphone, and no idea how to use music editing software lol.. I really think music is fun though, so I decided to try out making a song a day (for a while, at least) just to motivate myself to create. Due to this, most everything will probably be like.. short 30 second songs in gibberish/no lyrics basically unedited only 10 - 30 minutes of work lol.. #This was literally just off the top of my head improvising words that rhyme (as is obvious from me rhyming the word#'on' with the word.... 'on' (what's going ON my name is ON' etc. lol) but after actually thinking about it this kind of seems a little#sinister?? why is his name on the news? why is he fleeing town? makes me think of of some guy who's killed#someone or is finally getting caught for his crimes so one last stop before he flees town is he returns home to his husband (who he#calls Hummingbird sometimes I guess) and is like 'erm... tee hee.. I can't tell you why but I shall leave. farewell' etc.#also 'I guess I could show you' having a bad implication like.. yeah I COULD show you the dead bodies and evidence of my crimes#but I will spare you from that and simply let you live in ignorance (at least until you see the news at 10.. but I will be long gone by#then.. eating green beans somewhere lol).. ANYWAY.. 100% unintentional but you could actually almost read some sort of meaning#out of this one. until the green beans part ghhbjb.. I try so hard for everything to just be meaningless gibberish#that has no connection but I suppose sometimes a connection can be made. alas.. a perhaps accidentally Dark seeming song snippet#OR alternate theory. uhh... actually his name is on the news for a good reason. he donated all his money to charity and now#he's fleeing town just because he's embarassed to be publicly recognized.. a shy philanthropist OR an evasive murderer#BOTH versions of him like green beans. which is the truth? up to listener interpretation lol.. Also I#still find it immensely funny for some reason to do this lower sounding style of singing. which not that I really care about like having a#Broad Range or something since I don't think it'd even be possible to have one in my position (as someone#with zero musical/vocial training/etc.) BUT because part of what I find fun is like.. experimenting with all different sorts of sounds#and also doing choir type stuff. So then I do want to be able to sound like multiple people.. if that makes sense? I want to have a really#high voice and the a really low voice and have them sing together and it sounds like a duet or something when it's really just one person.#etc. Thus have a passing interest in learning to adopt different singing styles if I can. because then that's funny and I can do a wider#variety of things like it's all different characters or something as if all the song snippets are done by different people or etc.#(maybe just part of the nature of it being experimental).#And the low voice is always the goofiest sounding to me and very 'fake' seeming I guess#like blatantly is just someone putting on an affect or whatever but still in a kind of fun jokey way lol#beepo tag

#beepo tag#MOSTLY complete nonsense made up on the spot. Though I did edit the words once after the initial draft recording#there was something else instead of 'admittedly a little smarmy but wondrous in my eyes' part. Aside from that thoug..#all very silly. I find the phrasing funny.. what does it mean to be a 'duckling of a woman'? and the implication that the reason his#girlfriend has currently left him or is temporarily not talking to him or whaever is because he didn't share a slice of his#casserole pie.. whatever the hell that is.. I kind of like this one though. Maybe my favorite out of the current batch.#It's a little whimsical or something#Kind of like how 'hummingbird' was not intentionally dark seeming but then later upon reflection after reviewing the random#words my brain made up it kind of seemed that way. This also was not intentionally some love song#or anything. But upon reflection after my first initial 'just saying random stuff off the top of my head' draft#it was like.. hrrmm.. this could be read that way possibly. So I leaned into that with drawing the goofy album cover#.. Gynger Ayle the bard.. a whimsical silly little man#I actually made up a little simple dance to this song and was going to have the video be a little animation of him dancing#out the motions of it but............... then I caught myself and was like.. no.. remember.. this is supposed to be a SIMPLE and QUICK#activity.. I am not making professional grade music and full animations and etc. the point is just to play around and be silly#and so quick little fun things for FUN on the side. Not for it to become a Large Time Consuming Project that ends up taking focus#away from all of my other creative projects lol.. I just have such a brain that's always like 'OH and wouldnt THIS BE COOL??!'#like YES it would be cool. but we do NOT have the dedicated time to do that lol. slap out that draft audio in 20 minutes and draw a quick#little doodle in 2 minutes and be DONE with it. i COMMAND thee *some evil wizard of Focus trying to reign in my brain#and make sure I actually stay on task*#I still have the dance written out though.. maybe one day after ALL OF MY OTHER MORE IMPORTANT projects are ENTIRELY DONE#I can do a little animation.. #beepo tag#silly.. I've been doing more improvising random nonsensical lyrics in english rather than just gibberish languages recently. I think maybe#because I've been feeling kind of sick so when I do get the chance to sit down and record a bunch of little 10 min of effort#snippets in a day - my main goal is less experimenting with sounding interesting fantasy choir stuff (what#I used to do more often.. like thinking about layering lots of voices and sounding like an elven lullaby or something)#and more just 'I feel bad I just want to mess around and make myself laugh' etc.#I do still have some more Serious Fantasy Choir drafts saved and such but I've been gravitating more towards#like 'old man singing about cheese' just because it amuses me ghbj#ANYWAY.. if all of my goofy song snippets seem to just be silly shitpost type stuff more recently.. this is why perhaps#In my Goofy Era... (also my Kazoo era still.. though is it really an era if it's foundational to my being?
