i was first an angel fallen from the heavens transformed into a god of wisdom and knowledge foremost, a record keeper, but my domain also extended to love and beauty as well as transitions and boundaries. i feel that my main symbols included a swan feather quill and blood of the departed as ink. i believe my primary job amongst my significant duties were to write out every detail of the deceased’s life with the blood of their previous vessel to pass it on into the lifestream so that their soul remembers who they were before reincarnating to program the reincarnated spirit with the latent energies of who they once were. my values included communication and balance.

i often appeared in a form much like the images of this post, androgynous typically but i was known to project myself as either female or male.

making yourself feel divine: a short guide

i shall update this list as i find/am suggested more things. not all of these will work for everybody, this list is just here in hopes of helping.

gods/deities/adjacent

throw a party where everybody brings food. these are their offerings to you.

do some form of fortune or future telling for others or yourself.

wear clothing typical of your pantheon, or themed around what you rule over.

angels

if you're a guardian, think about who you protect.

gold, white, and pastels in your makeup and clothing.

learn to dance something elegant.

demons

wear fake fangs in your daily life. (just don't bite through them like i did.)

have meat around. i personally prefer bacon jerky and prosciutto. simulates flesh, if you're that sort of demon.

if you've got a tail, make one. there's several ways to go about this, but i recommend fursuit makers' tutorials. there's also the more expensive option of those electronic ones that move.

wear accessories related to your correspondences

if you get phantom wings, do things such as going to trampoline parks or, if you're brave, skydiving.

if you so desire, spend some time researching ways to expand your vocabulary and speak more eloquently.

meditate. any sort you'd like.

observe humans. people watching could be rewarding.

candles.

or maybe just ignore all of this. do what you enjoy doing, what makes you feel divine in your own unique way. not all angels are soft, not all demons are evil. not all deities want to be worshipped. no matter what you are, do what you need to be happy.

you’re valid if your divinekin identity isn’t spiritual, and you’re valid if you’re agnostic or atheist. it’s ok if you don’t fully understand your divine identity, or if you don’t really understand it at all.

you don’t have to explain every intricacy of your identity. you’re allowed to just… be.

putting this under a cut because i went into detail, i apologize if it’s too much, i just hope i painted enough of a vivid picture of who i was as a deity!

i’ve just recently woken up to discovering my past life as a deity, but what i’ve gathered so far is that my values involved communication and balance. therefore, i ask for my ‘side quest’ that you let your loved ones know how much you appreciate them and to maintain balance between your responsibilities and your powers/strengths.

i was a deity whose sphere of influence included guiding my followers through their struggles in life. i also handled significant tasks and duties, one of which i will describe below.
