Belle-mere ——> Beau-pere

Finally finished with this one! I really wanted to share it here. For some of these going forward I wanted to give my thoughts on how I went about making this (shout out to @silkentine )

For Beau-pere’s design, I leaned more into the farmer aspect when it came to his attire. He gets all sweaty and dirty so he’ll wear baggy but workable clothes.

Belle-mere’s design to me exudes tough but gentle; I wanted to portray that in Beau-pere’s design too. I made him more rough-looking but kept his features playful and gentle.

And since he’s a dad, he’d definitely have a dad bod 😉

Been contemplating doing a mini project where I draw the red haired pirates.

Benn was first on my list because I knew he make a smoking hot chick for sure.

This was very fun to do because I love giving characters unique features and playing around with the design to make look different but retain the core of the character.

Loved Koza when I first watched Alabasta; I had to see him as a badass woman✊

This was my first attempt at drawing a character with a hijab

Gilf Jinbe people! Yeah 🙌

It took a lot of practice get her to look right but she’s turned out beautiful and therefore, I am happy

This piece is apart of a gender swap Warlords project currently on hold.

I first had to get comfortable with drawing this particular body type first (This help me educate myself more on adding diversity to my art)

I used Oda’s gender swap version as a blueprint and added details that I felt were more faithful to Jinbe. I kept the brows of course (she ain’t Jinbe without them lol) and gave her less pronounced fangs.

I had a blast with her young adult version; I based her hair off the 90s flip and thought it fit

(Lastly, I just noticed I forgot her scar, I’ll post an altered version later 😅)
