VERSES: GRIFFIN
BALDUR'S GATE 3
BACKGROUND: (RESIST) DARK URGE CLASS: BARD, COLLEGE OF VALOR
Everything you touch falls to ruin. No matter how much you try otherwise, how deeply you find yourself wishing otherwise, you will always sow the seeds of chaos. You are disaster and ruin, and you will never escape, no matter how much you resist. But you resist anyway, wanting to cut a slice of life for yourself that means something.

BIOGRAPHY: GRIFFIN Griffin's main verse is set within the One Piece universe.
Griffin was born into old money, the middle daughter of several. The wealth her family accumulated over the years put them into a box of unyielding tradition. She was to be married and made an unthinking wife to keep status within the family once she turned of age, but she wanted to do more with your life.
She enlisted in the Marines, thinking this would be the way to give back. She found, rather quickly, both that she wasn't made for the military life, with every demerit she racked up due to her troublesome whims, and that the Marines committed more atrocities than good. Griffin defected for a life of piracy after a few years with little but her guitar on her back, wishing to inspire and see the world.
Griffin was never one to sit still, however, and found that her music could rally crowds. She held anti-WG demonstrations and protests, swaying people across the seas to her side.
Her action against the World Government was not enough, and her last protest turned violent, with many casualties on both sides. It got her locked away in Impel Down, giving her many years to stew on her regret and carelessness.
Now that she's out, she's ready to try again, with the same zeal but a more calculative approach.
*Depending on the story being told, and who with, Griffin fell in love with Monkey D. Dragon as a Marine and is Luffy's mother.

VERSES: TALISSA
ONE PIECE
Was raised on Thriller Bark by an undead couple brought back by Hogback's hand, as servants for Moria. She lived as normal a life as one could, surrounded by the macabre and the ghoulish. As a teenager, she even ate a Devil Fruit, that granted her the temporary form of a ghost. She was one with the inhabitants her world surrounded.
Doubt began creeping in with the years, with every shadow Moria stole and placed in an undead body. It was a beautiful thing to be able to bring people back from the dead, or to give them a second change, but not like this. So she left, and promised to return and take Moria down.
Talissa aids the Straw Hats in their battle in promise for passage away from Thriller Bark until the next port. The pirate world's first mortician.

MODERN

BIOGRAPHY: TALISSA Talissa's main verse is set within the timeline of Dragon Age: the Veilguard.
Talissa's mother was a hopeful philosopher, scrounging up enough money to see that her first tome was published before her child's birth.
She died on the streets as Talissa took her first breath. She doesn't remember her face, or the color of her hair, but her love for life imbued itself within Talissa, waiting for the moment it was needed most.
Talissa’s earliest memories of childhood are playing tag with spirits on the streets of Nevarra. If you'd asked her child self, she would have said she was born dead. She didn't trust the mortal lives that tried to touch hers.
Then she was taken in by the Mourn Watch at the age of five and schooled on everything necromancy. Talissa got along well enough in school, but she always felt more at ease around the dead than her living classmates.
She couldn't stand by and watch the undead royal families tear her beloved country apart, and took it upon herself to stop the war before it went too far.
Talissa is still a street kid at heart and the bits of elitism and politicking within necromancy are what spur her to lead the attack against the warring nobles on Nevarra. She’s already seen what extravagant wealth can afford you during her time on the outside (and knowing she was literally left on the streets as a young child.) Hearing the stories of families too poor to afford the services they care for, who can’t even bury their dead properly because they were branded criminals for some reason or another. She respects tradition for what she sees it as: history. She already stuck out as a Watcher, so what did she have to lose?
Her outcast nature provided her with a good eye for leading, but the higher ups were not pleased about disrupting the status quo, and asked her to see the world for awhile.
This was how Varric Tethras found her.
*If not in the role of Rook, Talissa can be a point of contact for the Mourn Watch, doing field work in Minrathrous and Rivain.

VERSES: GUINEVERE
BALDUR'S GATE 3
BACKGROUND: ACOLYTE AND HIGH PRIESTESS OF OGHMA, POTENTIAL TO MULTICLASS INTO WARLOCK OF TALOS CLASS: STORM SORCERER
When her parents could no longer feed her after the birth of their fifth child, and upon showing magical talent they had no way of aiding her with, Guinevere was given to the local temple to study to become a priestess. And Guinevere proved exceptional, even as she longed for more, purchasing monster romance novels to hide behind her tomes and visiting the darker parts of Baldur's Gate for quick excitement on her way back home.
It was here, on one of those trips, that not even her goddess could save her from being abducted by a Mindflayer ship and implanted with a parasitic tadpole.
*If not in the role of Tav, she can be collected as a companion among the Risen Road, thwarting bandits with her magic. Guinevere has an odd fascination with blood magic and the god of destruction, but her knowledge and quick thinking prove her a valuable asset.

ONE PIECE
Joined the Marines as she was expected, given her talent and the money it would provide, but was conscripted into Cipher Pol as punishment after aiding a convicted friend in escaping holding. She took to CP better than regular Marine work, but is working for her own agenda on the down low. In Cipher Pol, she was given an unnamed fruit, which turned out to be the Chi Chi no Mi (can manipulate her own blood, as well as if the victim already has an open wound or cut, she can manipulate another’s health.) Travels with her dog, and partner, Galahad.

BIOGRAPHY: GUINEVERE Guinevere's main verse is set within the Dragon Age: Origins timeline.
Following in her sister’s footsteps, Guinevere's mother, Revka, fell in love with a mage, bringing yet more scandal upon the minor noble house of Amell. She was still convinced life would sort itself out in the name of love.
Guinevere was born the eldest of five children, on a countdown of what freedom was left before her innate responsibilities settled in. She had to grow a strong constitution living in Kirkwall, but she didn't mind. She protected her siblings, played with them. It was her duty, and exceptional girls always did as told.
Until, the day before her ninth birthday, she began to show signs of magic, and soon after, was taken by Templars to Kirkwall's Circle, her mother crying as Guinevere was shepherded away. She proved to be a model student, so when her mentor transferred to Ferelden's Circle, she followed behind. Guinevere aced her courses, made friends, found love, but it was never quite right. She was playing the part. She wanted more, wanted it to feel real. Wanted excitement.
So she began studying blood magic. If she was truly so talented, she could find a way to prove it was not the means of magic that was the issue, but those who wielded it.
She was already being looked at to join the Grey Wardens, but after an incident with another pupil (arguably the only true friend she'd ever had), where she told the First Enchanter of his plans to escape, because it was expected of her, she was subsequently conscripted after raising the Knight-Commander's ire.
Guinevere had never had a problem taking charge. She would do it, as asked, even if it was leading a ragtag group against darkspawn and a Blight, even if it led to a potential breaking point.
*If not the Warden, or in a multi-Warden timeline, Guinevere can be conscripted in the fight against the Blight as one of the remaining Circle mages.

VERSES: DRUCILLA
DRAGON AGE: INQUISITION
Coming off the end of Kirkwall, where she fought on the side of the mages, split up and with nowhere else to go, Drucilla ventured toward the Conclave, unable to enjoy her freedom while other mages suffered under the same weights.
After being branded with a glowing green hand and a power she could only hope to understand, Drucilla was taken into custody and subsequently made the leader of the Inquisition, while dubbed the Herald of Andraste. It would be easy to go under the name Trevelyan to hide her past, but she'd long since stopped running.
*If not in the role of Inquisitor, Drucilla can join as a companion, instead, amidst her continued studies in the cross section of mages and spirit possession. While she is a mage first and foremost, she can offer insight for a rogue Inquisitor, through her history as a pirate.
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
ONE PIECE
Born to two of Dragon’s Freedom Fighters on the island of Ohara, Sabina lived the first few years of her life amongst the division there until her parents decided a revolution, though necessary, was no place to raise a child. They left their ranks and the island to become merchants, and until the age of ten, she knew a happy childhood.
Until Marines came looking for them.
They told her to run, and run she did, raising herself for a few years and hardening herself in the process. She named herself Drucilla, afraid to be taken in, and ate the Neko Neko no Mi, Model: Lion, knowing it would grant her protection.
A fortune teller by the name of Iona Pritchard took her in, feeling sorry for the child. No one else cared to put up with the girl’s petulant behavior, because, angry and lost and at the mercy of her devil-granted powers, Drucilla was adamant in keeping the spirit of her parents (and former life) alive and ready to fight anyone who seemed to get in the way.
What only further cemented her belief of not belonging was the day she mauled a boy in the village who’d enjoyed ridiculing her, turning into her lion form and sinking her fangs into his legs.
Drucilla left the village shortly after that night, with no word to Iona, content to be on her own rather than be judged. She was found by a woman named Isabela, a pirate captain who offered her a position on her crew, giving Drucilla purpose and a place for her grief (finding some months later before setting out to sea, that Iona had died, Drucilla took her last name in an act of honor.) This sparked a loyalty to her new captain and crew, unlike any other.
Drucilla took to the life of a pirate like she’d been born for it, sailing the seas as the Siren Pirates’ first mate for ten plus years, until one night, on a mission to steal a log on the history of the world’s Poneglyphs in order to appease a deal her captain had struck to get a crimelord off their backs, their ship was chased down by Marines, near rocky cliffs mid-thunderstorm and it went under. Only Drucilla and her captain survived, and in the midst of panic, remembering her parents all those years ago, and near-death, she ran while Isabela was taken into custody.
Now, using her merchant’s talent for spinning lies and her years of experience in piracy, Drucilla plans to sneak her way into the Marines long enough to be able to break her captain out of Impel Down.
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
BALDUR'S GATE 3
BACKGROUND: CRIMINAL CLASS: DRUID
Drucilla can be found in the Emerald Grove, siding with Kagha. If Kagha is reasoned with, Drucilla can be recruited as an ally. If Kagha is killed, Drucilla will flee.
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
MODERN
Art handler who moonlights as a scalper, wanting to a make a fortune off her own work.
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
MY HERO ACADEMIA
While gifted with a quirk that allows her to transform into a cat, Drucilla is not a professional hero. She instead pens documentation for hero and villain alike, one part for the money and one part for the thrill.

BIOGRAPHY: DRUCILLA Drucilla's main verse is set within the Dragon Age 2 timeline.
Her birth mother always dreamed of something more. A young woman, fresh off her Harrowing, met a young merchant during a work opportunity selling potions in the markets of Starkhaven and fell in love quickly, never to return to the Circle. They had a girl, born under a starry sky, named Sabina, and she lived a peaceful life in the countryside for a time.
Until it was time to move again, as they did under the guise of a merchant’s work, and they moved to Ferelden. Sabina’s father had been paying off Starkhaven templars to spare his wife, and now, daughter until one evening when he didn’t come back from the stalls on time, and a pair of Ferelden templars descended upon their home.
Sabina’s mother bought her time, but the ten year old girl didn’t get very far, and was taken to Kinloch Hold. She spent seven years in the circle, festering anger and guilt and making few friends.
Several months before her eighteenth birthday, she escaped Kinloch through years of planning, telling no one, not even the friends she’d made, of her decision. She was found by a Rivaini seer by the name of Iona, and desperate to never go back, Sabina became Drucilla.
Drucilla’s time with Iona lasted for only a few months, and much in the same manner, she left Iona with no word, determined to be free (some more months later, Drucilla learned that Iona had died, and feeling the guilt of a relationship taken for granted, she took on her last name, Pritchard, in honor of her.)
Drucilla was found by pirate captain Isabela, who, over a round of drinks and a game of Wicked Grace, pried her story from her. Drawn by the familiarity of a girl running from a shitty situation, Isabela offered Drucilla a place on her crew. It took work to master swordsmanship and the way around pirate ship, along with learning to hide her magic, but Drucilla took to piracy like she’d been born to be a first mate.
Now, with the end of the Siren’s Call and all of her crew, Drucilla and Isabela are in Kirkwall working as smugglers.
