Lets talk about Stillmaker, Durge’s other canon blade

Okay, so we already know that Durge had the Bloodthirst dagger which was created from Bhaal’s own blood and carried by his chosen.

But there is another dagger in the game you can find that also canonically belonged to Durge, Stillmaker.

We see Stillmaker portrayed in Dark Urge’s official artwork, and it’s also Durge’s blade in Idle Champions, as you can see.

I’ve noticed that Stillmaker matches Bloodthirst in design, but it is conspicuously green, as opposed to every other Bhaalian weapon I’ve seen which are red.

You know who else’s canon weapon has the same green coloring? Gortash. And who is the color green associated with? Bane. Stillmaker looks like it was made in the same design to Gortash’s crossbow.

I posit then, that being close to one another as they were, Gortash either made or commissioned Stillmaker to match with Bloodthirst and gifted it to Durge. It’s far more his style in looks, and I feel it’s something he would have done as he describes Durge as his nearest and dearest, and we know they worked very closely together and admired one another.

It truly makes my Durgetash heart flutter!

EDIT #2: We were discussing on discord yesterday, Orin would have of course kept the Bloodthirst blade after dispatching Durge because it’s made of Bhaal’s blood and carried by his Chosen, but she would not have wanted some sugary gift from her sibling’s Ex and probably tossed it away and Dolor ended up with it, and that’s how it ended up in his stash.

What did they think when they wrote the prayer down? Why was it so important for them to have a physical copy of it?

Balthazar is an infamous necromancer and has extended his 'life' far beyond what should've been. What did Durge think of him?

The Warden hates Durge. Why? What did they do?

The Worgs in Gortash's Warehouse, what's the story behind them?

Minsc is quite infamous, did Durge have a hand in the disappearance of his Statue? Was it originally their plan or did Orin do something successfully by herself for once? How would your past Life Durge react to it?

If your pre-lobotomy Durge could say anything to your post-lobotomy Durge, what would it be?

What was Durges greatest nightmare?

What do they think of other Deities? Especially those of their race or good aligned ones?

Drizzt is quite famous in Faerûn. Did your Durge have an opinion on the man who betrayed his origins and rose to become a hero?

What would past Durge think of their new companions? Would they like, love, dislike or despise them?

What does their handwriting look like?

If they could have one modern thing in Faerûn, somehow through magical means or smth, what would it be? Luxury toilet paper, a smartphone (no, charger or internet is not included), a history book for research perhaps?

Shoes on or off in the temple? After all it is their home, so what's their rule? Did they enforce it on others too?

If they could rewind time to any moment of their choosing once, would they do it? And which moment would it be?

What was your Durges dream before everything happened? What did they want to become? Did they want to stay with their family or did they strive to go adventuring?

Sarevok, what was his relationship with your Durge like? Did they like each other? Was it complicated?

listen. listen. I feel So Much for Orin and I hate how ppl in fandom will write sonnets abt the tragedy of durgetash and their doomed narrative but then turn around and treat Orin like she's completely unhinged without a scrap of compassion.

she's literally the Dark Urge that never got a chance at a redemption arc, she's everything Durge used to be, except no one ever came to show her another way. she's been raised with the understanding that her fate is to kill everyone around her. Durge, the person she arguably has the most connection to, is someone she will one day be forced to consume. when you tell her that Sarevok ordered her death, she completely freaks out and Bhaal himself intervenes and forces her to transform while she screams in pain.

she's your underling, your sister, a murderer just like you, she's the only one who could ever understand what it's like, you're destined to kill each other but until that day comes she's the only person Bhaal allows you to keep, you were supposed to kill her, but she manages to drive a knife into the back of your skull, she steals everything from you including your past and in doing so gives you a second chance, she ruined you, she saved you, she's your destruction and salvation all in one, and no matter what you do she will die in chains
