So I just went through and made 20+ icons of Soldier 76 and I think it’s safe to say I have an Overwatch blog. Sister is working on a duo promo so I’ll drop that later, but my url is leathergrandpa and you should follow me.

Deacon chuckled. “Welcome to the Commonwealth. If your whole family has died of natural causes, you should probably start looking into whether or not you’re a real person.”

“Sounds like my kind of deal. Everybody wins. As long as nothing goes horrifically wrong along the way.”

Deacon winced. “I just… jinxed us, didn’t I? Anyway, I’m ready to go whenever you are.”

“I think I left the stove on.”

Deacon struggled for words. This wasn’t exactly the first time he’d been caught in a lie, and he was used to weaseling his way out of things, but now he was panicking.

“I have to go.” he finally announced.

“Deacon….”

“I don’t know how I feel about using somebody else as bait.” Deacon said uneasily. “But if they’re screaming like that, we’re probably too late anyway. Sneaking in and killing it, on the other hand, just so happens to be my specialty. Probably. Ladies first?”

“Hey, if anything, the screaming is a good sign- anything dangerous is already occupied! We can just sneak in and kill it, easy.” Laura wasn’t nearly as confident as she sounded, but she’d managed to take down some fairly nasty creatures thus far without any major issues. This’d just another notch in her belt.

Here atm but I’m probably going to be focusing on my RE blog. I’m also thinking about making an Overwatch blog. You guys can still reach me here and I’m still hanging onto threads though, just not going to be too active.

The place looked abandoned, but everything in the Commonwealth looked abandoned; it was a difficult aesthetic to avoid, and a difficult one to fix as well. He hadn’t expected company, but when he rounded a corner to find himself face to face with somebody else, he couldn’t exactly say he was shocked.

“So I guess this is your little scrap of heaven?” Deacon said slowly, trying not to startle her.

Deacon was immediately uncomfortable. Being close to people he knew felt difficult enough; a complete stranger was akin to torture. But he pushed his glasses up on his nose, and grinned, and acted as if he were comfortable with- or even expected- this.

He couldn’t fake attraction, but he could play chicken with this guy, so he leaned forward.

“Where’d you come from?” and then, for the game’s sake, “Stud?”

     Gabriel watched the stranger’s eyes for any sign of hidden truth. An involuntary glance to the side was to be expected. He was getting a bit too close for comfort. He got even closer, placing a hand against the wall of the alley beside the man’s head. The other hand drifted to the knife at his belt. A precaution.

     He was seeking out any sign of attraction, any sense that this was truly the man’s motive. Gabriel had always been rather oblivious to those signs, so it’d make sense that he wasn’t picking up on it. But there was nothing. No eye dilation. No physical response. Strange.

     “Am I? Guess it’s your lucky night, then.”

“ ‘The screaming is probably normal’, for whatever reason, doesn’t sound too comforting. But I’ll take it.” Deacon muttered.

“I’m good. It’s just a Museum of Witchcraft, the screaming’s probably normal. It would explain why the entire town is empty, too.”
