An elderly woman created a scene during a burial ceremony in Delta state as she sat on the coffin and refused to move. The deceased, a woman, was reportedly taken from Lagos to Delta state for the burial but the ceremony was stalled by the woman. She allegedly prevented the family of the deceased from burying the corpse due to reasons yet to be disclosed. In a video posted on social media, the woman could be seen sitting on the coffin with the corpse reportedly inside. World’s Tallest Family Has an Average Height of Over Two Meters

The Trapp family in Esko, Minnesota is officially the tallest family in the world with an average height of 203.29 cm (6 ft 8.03 in). Krissy Trapp loves saying that she is the shortest person in the world’s tallest family. At 191.2 cm (6 ft 3 in), she definitely qualifies as very tall, especially for a woman, but she is indeed the shortest of her immediate family. Her husband, Scott, is a towering 202.7 cm (6 ft 8 in), while her two daughters, Savanna and Molly, measure 203.6 cm (6 ft 8 in) and 197.26 cm (6 ft 6 in), respectively. The youngest member of the Trapp family, Adam Trapp, is also the tallest at 221.71 cm (7 ft 3 in). Together, they have a combined height equal to the length of half a tennis court! Adam, the tallest of the Trapps, was the one who got the idea to try for the Guinness record of the world’s tallest family, In 202, the whole family visited Dr. Anna Sudoh, an orthopedics doctor at Essentia Health, to be officially measured. In order to make it official, each member had to be measured three times throughout a whole day, both standing up and lying down, with the average of these measurements being used to calculate their height. Talking about being the tallest family in the world, the Trapps said that they went through some literal growing pains which also left visible stretch marks on their bodies. Savana told Guinness Records that she once grew an inch and a half in one month. The Trapp family also experiences trouble when shopping for clothes and footwear, because of how hard they find things in their sizes, but they admit that being extremely tall does have benefits. Growing up, the Trapp children were always recruited by colleges for both basketball and volleyball, with one of their coaches openly admitting that “you can’t teach height”. Overall, they all agree that their stature has helped them more than it has hindered them over the years. “There is joy and freedom in embracing who you are,” Savanna Trapp said. “Rock what you got. Elon Musk vows to delete fake accounts or 'die trying' if his $46.5 billion bid to take over Twitter succeeds

Tesla CEO, Elon Musk has promised to  eliminate spam bots or fake robotic accounts from Twitter if his bid to buy Social media platform, Twitter succeeds so that only real humans can use the platform. Musk who is the world's richest man who is also CEO of Tesla and Space X last week offered to buy Twitter claiming he would restore freedom of expression on the micro blogging platform. "If our twitter bid succeeds, we will defeat the spam bots or die trying," Musk tweeted Thursday night, April 21. He added, "And authenticate all real humans." The Tesla Inc CEO had previously expressed his deep concerns regarding crypto bots putting up scam posts on Twitter to dupe investors. At a TED Talk on April 14, Musk said, "If I had a Dogecoin for every crypto scam I saw, we’d have 100 billion Dogecoin." "A top priority I would have is eliminating the spam and scam bots and the bot armies that are on Twitter," Musk added. He also said that he was considering going directly through Twitter shareholders to buy the social network and has since announced that he has secured nearly $46.5 billion to finance the takeover. Monkey Tries To Kidnap Girl In Savage Attack In China

A wild monkey attacked and tried to kidnap a three-year-old girl before a neighbour came to her rescue. The toddler was seen on CCTV playing on a scooter outside when the monkey suddenly pounced on her, shoved her to the ground and dragged her away on Wednesday afternoon, April 20. Fortunately, someone from the village in Southwest China’s Chongqing Municipality saw what happened and rushed to save the child from the monkey. The girl’s mum, known only as Ms Liu explained that she was cooking at the time and only found out a monkey tried running off with her daughter when next-door neighbours suggested she checked security footage. The girl suffered few scratches on her face. Police confirmed she had been taken to hospital for a full check up and vaccination. According to Mr Chen from the village, the same vicious monkey has previously tried its luck harassing the elderly since its arrival in the area last May. Ex-Honduran President Hernandez, handcuffed, extradited to U.S. on drug charges

A disgraced former Honduran president was on Thursday April 21, extradited to the U.S. to face drug and arms charges. Juan Orlando Hernández, the once-powerful former president, was handcuffed as he boarded an airplane with agents from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration to face legal proceedings in New York City. He faces a three-count indictment charging drug importation and weapons offenses. In court documents, U.S. prosecutors alleged Hernandez was involved in a "corrupt and violent drug-trafficking conspiracy to facilitate the importation of tons of cocaine into the United States." Prosecutors charge that Hernandez received millions of dollars from drug cartels, including from notorious Mexican drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman. They allege he used the money to finance his political campaigns and engaged in voter fraud in the 2013 and 2017 Honduran presidential elections. Hernández was arrested at his home in Tegucigalpa in February at the request of U.S. authorities. He was shackled and paraded in front of journalists, a sight many Hondurans never imagined seeing. Honduras' Supreme Court rejected his appeal of a judge's decision in favor of extradition. U.S. prosecutors have accused Hernández of fueling his political rise with money from drug traffickers. The payments were  allegedly made in exchange for Honduran authorities allowing them to operate or for information helping them to evade interdiction. Hernández has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing. In a video message released Thursday, he said, "I am innocent; I have been and I am being unjustly subjected to prosecution." He has said he is the victim of drug traffickers he extradited who are now lying to seek revenge. Henry Osorto Canales, a retired National Police commissioner who is now an analyst, said that while the extradition was an embarrassment for Honduras, it was also a historic day. "This is a start because it has begun with the largest political piece that the country had and logically the rest of the pieces are going to fall, at least those closest (to Hernández)," Osorto said. Hernández's brother Tony Hernández, a former congressman, was sentenced to life in prison in the same U.S. court on essentially the same charges. Juan Orlando Hernández took office in January 2014 and held the presidency until this January, when Xiomara Castro was sworn in as his replacement. Castro campaigned on rooting out Honduras' corruption and Hernández was seen as the largest target. On Wednesday, Honduras' Supreme Court denied an appeal from the former chief of the National Police, Juan Carlos Bonilla Valladares, better known as "El Tigre" or "The Tiger." He was arrested after Hernández at the request of U.S. prosecutors on similar charges and is expected to be extradited in the coming weeks. According to the young mother, she gave birth to her first child, a boy in the year 2000. She was pregnant each year, starting from 2000, but one of her kids apparently died at child birth between 2003 and 2004. 83-Year-Old Man Finally Welcomes First Child After Waiting For Decades

UGANDA - An 83-year-old Ugandan man, Mzee Yosia Mwesigye, has rejoiced as he’s become a father for the first time since he first got married decades ago. He welcomed his first child with a new woman after his 1st wife passed away at the age of 79 without bearing any child. Mzee said he waited for 57 years with his late wife, adding that doctors said she was fertile but he has no regrets that she was not able to take in. According to Daily Monitor, the Octogenarian married the love of his life, Jane Tukamuhabwa (now deceased) on 25th of April, 1962, while he was only 23 years old. He remained faithful and stuck with her through the trying times, hoping that one day they would have a child, sadly his wife was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2005, and she died in 2018. “We did everything together but it was so unfortunate that she passed on without giving birth,” he said. Years later, Mzee found love again when he was 79 years old after his sister brought a woman to visit him at home and she later became his new wife. His 29-year-old wife became pregnant after two years of marriage and on March 23, health workers at North-Kigezi Health IV Rugarama delivered a baby boy. “I am so happy that God has blessed me with a child at my old age. I never thought of getting one but I kept on praying and finally, God answered my prayers and now I am a father. “Dying without a child is such a painful thing. But after having sex, he told me that he was a married man although his wife was a jealousy type and also very violent. So he said we should play it very low by going to chill to far places away from Mongu town. I told him that I was also a student and needed some support of formal of upkeeps. Around 05:00hrs he woke up and demanded for a morning glory and afterwards he said he was going home so that his wife shouldn’t notice that he slept out but from the club. He left me a K50 and said he was going to send me something before 10:00hrs. After leaving the lodge around 09:00hrs, I started feeling so much pain inside my vagina but again considering the fact that his penis was too small, I doubted. The pain kept on growing reaching to the point of me failing to sleep well last night. It was too hot last night and I could feel fire burning inside my v@gina and was forced sat on a dish of water. He said I should go to Kalabo or Lukulu for proper treatment but again it’s too expensive because it’s to clean and remove the Ghost, said mercy. American professional boxer Mike Tyson has got social media buzzing after he was caught on camera punching  a passenger in a plane. The former heavyweight champion was aboard a JetBlue plane and was  waiting for a flight to depart from San Francisco International Airport on Wednesday when the altercation happened. Prior to the incident, the unidentified overly excited passenger took a selfie with the boxer and everything was cool between them. Married woman allegedly caught cheating beaten by 15 men until she lost consciousness in India

For allegedly cheating on her partner, a married woman has been publicly beaten and forced to “marry” her lover. The incident happened on Saturday night, April 16, in the Indian village of Madhya Krishnapur in West Bengal. The embattled woman collapsed and was hospitalized after she was beaten, according to local police. Teliamura Sub-divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Sonacharan Jamatia told news agency Press Trust of India: “We will send a team to meet the victim to know the actual incident. “The police has not received any written complaint yet, but there will be an inquiry into the alleged incident“. The woman told reporters that her husband led a group of fifteen men to a field while accusing her of having an extra-marital affair and began beating her, leading her to lose consciousness. Her suspected lover was also physically harassed. A video circulated on social media showed her surrounded by villagers after regaining consciousness, with them forcing her to exchange garlands with her alleged lover as a symbol of marriage as they made loud noises. Drama|| Wives Exchange Blows At Court Over Equal Intimacy From Husband

COURT clerks were forced to break up a polygamous family’s free for all brawl outside a Buchi local court, after its reconciliation case was dismissed. The drama unfolded after the court ruled that the two women’s husband, Darious Tembo needed to assert himself and exercise his role as head of his household by presiding over both of his wives grievances. Junior wife, Estella Ngoma sued first wife Rabecca Tembo for reconciliation following their rift caused by accusations of witchcraft. Hostilities were renewed after the family exited the court with the principal wife’s brother joining the fray and telling Ngoma not to stress his sister because she was the first wife. Ngoma fired back with verbal acerbic attacks telling Tembo and her relatives that the fight was not over. As the two women and their relatives continued to bicker, court clerks were forced to intervene and disperse the feuding family members to instead go home and reconcile from there as the court ordered. Earlier in court, Ngoma had accused Tembo of using charms on her which spoiled her intimacy sessions with their husband. Ngoma told the court that Tembo had constantly accused her of using charms on her to an extent of making her bleed whenever she had relations with their husband. The court heard that in December last year Tembo allegedly sent a voice note to their husband, accusing Ngoma of using charms on her. She told the court that Ngoma through her charms was the reason she kept bleeding from her private parts whenever she became intimate with their husband. Ngoma told the court that it was the reason she sued Tembo but later dropped the case after her family suggested that the matter would be resolved within the family. The court heard that Tembo had not been remorseful of her actions as she continued telling family members that at some point a traditional healer she consulted told her the sufferings in her marriage were as a result of Ngoma’s alleged charms. “At some point she went as far as proposing for the witchdoctor to be transported to Kitwe so that he can tell the family members the person behind her sufferings ,” she said. Tembo however, told the court that she used to complain to their husband about her bleeding problem. The court heard that Tembo had not been happy in her marriage after her husband took a second wife and sometimes beat her for no reason. She told the court that at one time she discovered charms inside the mattress and complained about it to her husband who did not do anything. The court later called their husband, Darius, who testified that he was married to both women although he had not been on good terms with his first wife due to the witchcraft accusations by his second wife. He told the court that at one point he asked Tembo to seek God’s intervention and not traditional healers especially that during the time she wanted a child,bGod blessed her with one. Buchi senior local court magistrate Beatrice Kabelenga sitting with Magistrate Kambole Nyoni dismissed the case and advised Darius to help settle the differences between the two. Magistrate Kabelenga said Darius being the head of the house should put rules that his wives should follow because one day they might end up killing themselves. “This is why people avoid going into a polygamous marriages because it has such consequences of people using charms, we can’t reconcile you two looking at the accusations you are giving each other, let your husband put rules as the head of the house which you should follow,” she said. ZIMBABWE - A 28-year-old Bulawayo woman was left horrified and scared after her 26-year-old fellow tenant stormed into her room and sneaked into her blankets before he allegedly forced her to touch his “erect” s.e.xual organ. The woman from Mahatshula North suburb was left scared when Forgive Mugorogodi apparently in a desperate bid to seduce her sternly ordered her to touch his manhood which was hanging out of his pants. Allegations are that on 17 March 2022 and at around 10pm Mugorogodi went to the victim’s room while she was asleep and asked her to accommodate him under the guise that he wanted to watch TV. The seemingly suspicious victim refused but Mugorogodi insisted before he forced himself into the victim’s room and sat on the edge of the bed. After some time, Mugorogodi sneaked into the complainant’s blankets, and sensing danger, the victim jumped off the bed and took a bed sheet to cover herself since she was only wearing underwear. A daring Mugorogodi forcibly took the bed sheet off the victim and the helpless victim later took a skin-tight from the wardrobe and wore it. Mugorogodi reportedly pulled the victim to the bed and started caressing her. The complainant tried to escape but failed to do so since Mugorogodi kept a tight grip on her. The victim later managed to escape and Mugorogodi took out his penis and asked her to take it back if she wanted him to go out of her room and the frightened victim complied. Mugorogodi further kissed the victim on the cheek and quickly went out heading to his room. The traumatised victim went and reported the matter to the police leading to Mugorogodi’s arrest. Following his arrest Mugorogodi was brought before the court charged with indecent assault as defined in Section (67) (1) (a) of the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act Chapter 9:23. Chinese Man Sentenced To 20 Years Imprisonment For Torturing Rwandan Citizens

A court in Rwanda has sentenced a Chinese mining engineer to 20 years imprisonment after he was found guilty of torturing his workers Sun Shujun was convicted by Karongi Intermediate Court, Western Province on Wednesday, April 20, on charges of human torture and corporal punishment. Last year, Shujun was seen in a video severely beating two workers. The two young men identified as Azalias Niyomukiza and Gratien Ngendahimana were tied to a tree and beaten for allegedly stealing minerals from his mining company called Ali Group Holdings Ltd. The incident took place in Mukura cell, Kagano sector, Rutsiro district of Western Province, in August 2021. The torture video which went viral on social media triggered mixed reactions among the public criticizing such self-administered justice. Shugun and his co-accused, Alexis Renzaho, an engineer and Leonidas Nsanzimana, a security guard, were arrested by Rwanda Investigation Bureau. Renzaho was handed a 12-year jail term while the security guard was acquited. Beside the prison term, the two convicts were ordered to pay their victims a total of Rwf7.5 million in compensation. During the prosecution, Shujun defended himself saying the victims had stolen his minerals several times and he had warned them frequently. Following the incident, the Chinese Embassy in Rwanda issued a statement condemning the torture incident, reminding all Chinese to abide by Rwanda’s laws and report crimes to competent authorities instead of self-administered justice. “The Chinese Embassy in Rwanda has taken note of a recent case concerning a Chinese private company and a citizen. The case is associated with suspected theft. The Chinese Embassy supports Rwanda’s law enforcement agencies to investigate and handle the case transparently and fairly in accordance with the law of Rwanda. Meanwhile, we request the lawful rights of the Chinese enterprises and citizens be properly protected,” the statement read. “The Chinese Embassy requires Chinese enterprises and citizens in Rwanda to abide by the local laws and regulations. Any suspected illegal behaviors found should be reported to the police timely, rather than being dealt with unlawfully on one’s own.
