Andy laughed when she heard Asuka's movie choice. "Are those two movies each others' substituted? They seem like kind of different in genre?" she smiled. "But I am so up for watchin a movie while we bake, or after or during or whatever" she said as they stepped into the video store. "Okay, so no horror." Andy nodded and looked around, "I'm not a massive romance person so maybe something like Haunted Mansion?" she picked the movie up and showed it to Asuka.

Asuka welcomed the contact, resisting the urge to skip along. "Well, I think it's the perfect fall activity, personally. That and a cozy movie - something like When Harry Met Sally or Hocus Pocus. I like silly, fall themed movies but I'm not the biggest horror fan."

"You think so?" Andy frowned, "I mostly use the same amount. But then again I've been substituting it for like what? Ten years. Feel like my tastebuds just think that it is cinnamon" she laughed.

Edgar flashed a smile, appreciating her optimism and enthusiasm. He hummed in thought. "Allspice should work. Probably just need less than what's called for since it's a pretty strong flavor profile."

"Complicated? This? Not a chance," Andy said nonchalant, as a person who has been stuck in this town for her whole life she learnt that the most complicated part of any recipe here is finding the ingredients, otherwise they had nothing but time to try to make the stuff. "I'm sure we can't mess it up that bad." she smiled and nodded, "I've got the book at home and admittedly I've already got the stuff for it. Minus the cinnamon, but I have allspice to substitute."

Edgar looked at the picture, brows furrowing. "It...looks complicated. Did you find the book at the library?" Maybe having the original copy would help. Plus without his readers on he admittedly had no idea what the recipe actually said in the picture.

"Erm," Andy looked around as if she could find an answer on the ground, "Maybe let's start with the cookies? And we could pick a movie or something while baking and watch something spooky?" she smirked, Andy was a bit of a fan of horror movies.

"Oh good, I was starting to think how awkward it would be if you went all like 'nah'" Andy said with a laugh. "Now I was thinking -" she started and took her phone out quickly scrolling through it, "-these ones," she put it up to Edgar showing a recipe book page with picture of cookies that look like mini apple strudels. "Look fun right?"

Andy gave Lilith a half-grin, "Jinks, I was about to ask you the same" she nodded looking down at the notebook in the other's hands, "Hope I didn't disturb your flow."

Soaking in the last bit of warmth, Lilith found herself sitting on one of the benches that lined the path and writing in her journal. It seemed like it had been a while since she had done it, and given all the moodiness and gloominess of the past, she really felt like it needed an update. As Andy plopped down beside her, she laughed, closing her journal to raise a brow. "Hey, trouble, what have you been up to?"

"Absolutely! I mean probably would be hard to do both at the same time but we can totally do both" Andy beamed. "What would you want to start with?" she asked looking around the kitchen, "candles or cookies?" she asked with a smile.

"Okay then it's settled - we're going to do just that." Andy hooked her hand through Izan's and started to make her way towards the inside of the house. "We'll start with the baking so wo we can make candles why they bake, would you like some tea or mulled cider?" she asked once the two of them where in the kitchen.

Andy beam hearing Asuka say yes, "Yay, let's go then" she nodded enthusiastically and hooked her hand through Asuka's going towards the Video store for them two to go pick a movie together, "No reason, just have a bit more time on my hands these days, besides candle making and conserving the veg from the garden." she laughed.

"Can I interest you in candle making and apple cookie making?" Andy asked with a smile.

Andy couldn't help but let out a little amused scoff. "Oh really?" she shook her head, "And what shall we talk about, my friend?" she asked looking at Cass with a smile, "Anything exciting happening at the Romero-land?"

Cass had no problem approaching a familiar face, so when he saw Andy standing nearby and seeming to be alone for the time being, he didn't hesitate to walk over and put a hand on her shoulder. Leaning forward, he made sure they had good eye contact before speaking. "Listen. Nobody's paying attention to me, and I'm going to make a scene unless you offer good conversation and maybe another drink. This is actually a super important mission, I need you to take it seriously."

"Oh just-" Andy shrugged then shook her head. "Everything I guess. Think I might be a bit out of touch with these types of events." she gave Sam a half-smirk. "I really hope this event is different though." she sighed then winced, maybe that thought was better left unsaid.

He couldn't help the snicker as he shook his head. "Didn't mean to get in line? What're you thinking about? If you don't mind me asking."

Andy gave the selection once-over, "I guess it depends on what you're feeling like," she shrugged, "I'd go for lemonade or beer. Or a combination of both," she smirked, "Actually, you know what I might just have that."
