Kai - i still wanted his iconic swoopy hair to be there, i struggled alot trying to put it in a feminine hairstyle- this was inspired by this hair from cocoppaplay (i reference a lot from pinterest) tho i can make her have the same hair but yanno...i want anime insane hairstyles

Kozo - not much for her, i originally wanted Kozo to have long/medium length hair- but considering her job i think its best suited short

Toshiya - i made her hair long in this one!! previously i stuck with short

Bunta - also not much- i wanted her to still look like her male counterpart tbh

Wataru - at first her hair was flat! its to match with Nobu, seeing Wata's personality i made her hair more fluffed up (shapey hehe)

Nobu - got alot of references/inspo for his style...i tried to make it not too boring tho- prolly would draw her in different hairstyles hurmm

Iketani - really poofy, referring to his earlier manga hairstyle! (+Arcade Stage Zero) i dont like drawing iketani with flat hair because its boring TT

It's so funny to me that the term "whump" can easily mean anything from "this character has a cold 😦 but here's another character taking care of him 🙂" all the way over to "this character is being viciously tortured to death" and sometimes those two creators are following each other.

The question isn't "would this character ever admit to needing help or are they determined to be a totally stoic wall?" it's "what would it take to make this character who's determined to be a totally stoic wall desperate enough to ask for help?"

Scare them so bad they decide it's worth breaking their own internal guiding doctrine and facing the mortification of admitting to their friends that they're fallible.
